Kodiak 100 - Cargo and passengers

Featured Replies

When I try to add cargo or passengers to my Kodiak cabin - by filling in weights within the payload section of the top menu against the appropriate rows/seats - nothing appears. It did once when I first got the plane, I added some cargo and could see it appear in the cabin. Not sure what I have done for the animation to disappear - any thoughts?

My observation has been that it behaves differently based on the interior.   Works OK for me with the "Tundra" interior or whatever the one is that gives you like 7 pax seats.

Make sure when you enter the weights for each seat or position, you hit the enter key and see the entry move the weight up.

I enter the weights for each seat or position, hit the enter key and I see the payload weight increase. What I do not see is the animation of passengers or cargo in the cabin/cargo areas.

Just picked up on Stoopy's point - and concur that it is working for me in some variants - i.e the Tundra tyres versions show the animations, but others that I have tested with normal tyres do not seem too.

Maybe a bug that will get fixed in time.

I use the combo version and the cargo version and the passenger version, normal tires, and they all work properly/

If you increase passengers or cargo in the Skydiver version, do little skydivers appear? I haven't tried it yet.

No

I don't get passengers appearing in the summit version but I do get them in the Tundra version.

This is noted in the manual. They didn't make the passengers visible in the summit variant due to performance reasons. Not quite sure how the summit is that much more taxing but that's the way it is for now anyway.

They climbed in but upon learning they were to be skydivers they each exited pretty quickly.

Make sure that you are not using the "Summit" interior. You can get visuals for passengers and cargo for each interior EXCEPT for the Summit. They chose not to model the passengers in that model due to performance limitations.
