 The large houses have been buying out successful small studios for two decades and instead of financing creativity, they closed them just keeping the IP. A bit simplistic but not too much. The home page of Steam on an average day tells us everything on the creativity of this industry. 

Now Gamesaurus Redmondsis goes after bigger fishes.

You are, of course, right. It does not impact directly MSFS or Asobo. But it shows a heavy trend.

MSFS puts the big money on external growth acquiring existing cash cow franchises, maybe rather than investing big on its own products.  Would I be wrong saying that they are investing in Activision and Bethesda, almost 1,000  times what they did in MSFS.

As for Asobo… Lets say they should be cheaper than Activision. 

I always thought that MSFS was an experiment for MS to perfect the streaming technology for mass consumption products and prepare a platform for other apps. Reading between their own lines here. MS buying spree shows where are its priorities. And that sort of applies to our beloved game as we see every so often how it is poorly managed. MSFS live weather and how to make it right is certainly not Spencer’s main concern.

Yes we need to police ATC operator's transmissions to bring them up to preferred cultural standards. Make them use old fashioned metallic GTT microphones (Grab to Talk). The operator must be holding the mic in his bare hands in order to transmit.

If inappropriate language is used an electrical shock will shoot through his digits up through his arm. That will teach them!
