Is it me or is the official microsoft flight sim website full of grumpy old buggers like me trying to impress one another with their FS lineage? Now I like a good site like this one but when it gets to old geezers playing mine is bigger than yours ..... 😄

Don’t know if you’re up to date on this forum atm, but the hottest topic is grumpy old buggers arguing about who’s the hardest core simmer.

It happens here all the time too…

Many trying to show they’ve simmed since the time of the ENIAC or their real life flying experience, ratings and types flown…

When a poster was simply asking if say, “Does this airplane seem realistic?” Or something like it.

You should just out-trump them. Tell them all they are mere amateurs and 'noobs'; you've been moaning about stuff since the very early days of moaning, back when when moaning about things was done with 8 bit wireframe grumpiness.

I am the most hardcore simmer with the biggest logbook ever. I've done deadstick landings, on a moving truck, using the FSX Century of Flight Wright Glider, in 0 visibility, with 999 knot direct crosswinds, inverted, with inverted controls and my monitor upside-down but also facing a mirror. Did I mention I used a keyboard with all but the backspace key missing? Because I'm just that hardcore.

When I went for my interview with G4, I didn't tell them about my 2,386 total time. I just showed them a screenshot of my 1,337 P3D hours. They said I put the 'L' in pilot. 😎
