January 29, 20224 yr I am the most hardcore simmer with the biggest logbook ever. I've done deadstick landings, on a moving truck, using the FSX Century of Flight Wright Glider, in 0 visibility, with 999 knot direct crosswinds, inverted, with inverted controls and my monitor upside-down but also facing a mirror. Did I mention I used a keyboard with all but the backspace key missing? Because I'm just that hardcore. When I went for my interview with G4, I didn't tell them about my 2,386 total time. I just showed them a screenshot of my 1,337 P3D hours. They said I put the 'L' in pilot. 😎 Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
