Just a thought, how about a nice Md-80 version

Featured Replies

Always like flying the Md-80 in FSX.  Anybody here any news about an Md-80 version coming out in the near future ? Also hope the price is reasonable, unlike the recent MD-11 coming out for $89.99.

For an alternative I would even go for Boeing 727 which Captain Sim had in FSX.

Let me know ur thoughts

I would avoid Captain Sim at all costs.

Yeah, Captain Sim, u would have  a ton of problems.

On the other hand I just checked out that video of the Md-80, I would buy it.  Any news about release dates?

The 727 was great...my favorite in FSX, not to mention probably my favorite irl aircraft. Those things were rockets!

No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea.

Sorry Goose, but it's time to buzz the tower!

The MadDog MD80 is all you will need. Its one of the best aircrafts ever made. If you like retro airliners.

Honestly the Captain Sim 707,727, 737 were decent for the time period they were released.

I preferred Just Flight's L-1011 over Captain Sim's though.

im more excited about the maddog then the PMDG. But I grew up flying in dc9s/ md80s / 737 classics/ 747-200s/ dc10s. All this NG/airbus stuff is cool but its got no soul.

Yeah, I'm waiting for the Leonardo Maddog to come out too. I had it in p3d and it was stellar. In many ways, it was even better than PMDG's stuff, and that's impressive. Just fantastic work all around.  It'll be a day-1 purchase for me.
