March 22, 20224 yr Just noticed this over at FSElitethe AH Dc-3 is nearing completion Good to so both steam guages and glass are catered for. Looks pretty good as well. March 22, 20224 yr I would raise the concern that their latest project (Electra) was a insult to flight simmers. They barely supported the project and it's considered abandonware at this point. AH is not a dev that be counted on for lifetime support of MSFS as Asobo released new SimUpdate that might break the aircraft. https://fsprocedures.com Your home for all flight simulator related checklist.

March 22, 20224 yr I hope it's WAY better than their P3D version. ROG MAXIMUS X HERO, Intel Core i7 8700K, 32 GB's 3200 RAM, Gigabyte RTX3080,
March 22, 20224 yr Let's hope AH improves, I was really counting on this DC-3. We can only see, I guess. I try to give grace to past short-comings. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's
March 23, 20224 yr I am definitely interested in aircraft of this vintage but I doubt if I'd look at anything that was not of the caliber of the PMDG DC-6 Intel Core i9-10900K at 5.2GHz, Corsair H115i PRO, ASUS MAXIMUS XII HERO Z490, G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 15-16-16-36, ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3090, SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS M.2 2280 1TB x 3, Corsair HX Series HX1000 Watt PSU, Pimax Crystal LIght.
March 23, 20224 yr I've never used an AH sim airplane I liked. I really, REALLY hope the Jahn/Visser C47 comes to MSFS eventually. Andrew Crowley
March 23, 20224 yr I watched the sound demonstration in the other thread. I was slightly disappointed by the low polygon count on the front of the engine cowlings. Some have said you don't see it unless you look for it. Not true for me! It was obvious and clear, and once you see it, it is difficult to un-see it. Meanwhile... the cowlings on the Big Radial Goose, well, look at the pictures yourself and compare - it's like night and day, and that is still very frame rate friendly. I think the issue is, it is such an iconic bird, and we have waited so long for it, we want it to look stunning in every way. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.
March 23, 20224 yr After their C-46, I swore I'd never buy another AH model. However, having heard a demo of the engine sounds, I'm prepared to reconsider. It's still going to take a lot of positive reviews first, but in the absence of Manfred Jahn's superb model, I might be persuaded. Might. Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

After that they threw the towel in on X-Plane but then ported it to P3D and now to MSFS. I kinda think these old planes are less complex better looking and once you've done one are probably a lot easier to produce. PMDG could probably bang them out as a side line.
