FSimStudios CYTZ Highlight (and flight)

Featured Replies

Picked up the FSimStudios Billy Bishop Toronto City airport yesterday, along with a few other small airports near Toronto (REGdesigns' CNC4 and CZBA).  I'm flying from Burlington Executive to Toronto City in the Cirrus, with G1000 NXi.  It's a pretty short flight and I stay low avoiding the busy Toronto airspace most of the way.

CYTZ has two runways 4000 and about 2500 ft in length - both ILS and RNAV(GPS) approaches exist to the field.  I'm unsure if there is an official water runway but there are docks with a few floatplanes.  The airport feels like the old Meigs in Chicago.

The sim scenery itself is very very nice.  Textures are superb especially up close.  I did have some loading/stuttering issues when viewing the terminal - and that's with my powerful 12700K / GTX 1080 Ti.

Getting ready to fly from REGdesigns' CZBA (it is also really well done)

Thanks - bet that would be a lovely view.  I was in the Sears tower in Chicago as a kid - my knees felt wobbly when I got to the edge of the glass hehe.  I recall the elevator ride being really quick...almost unnerving.

Very nice shots Ryan...anyone wanting to fly GA in the Toronto area (and beyond into southern Ontario) is certainly spoiled for quality airports.

Really nice shots. Slightly off-topic: is the livery you're using for the SR-22 publicly available? It's gorgeous!

Once again, Ryan comes up with a stunning pictorial...

Thanks.  Oh yes indeed.  There's a few super nice ones over here:  (I think it's called SR22 Curves or something there's a 3 pack)  https://flightsim.to/c/liveries/cirrus-sr22
