May 1, 20224 yr Anyone seen this error message yet? Just popped up on startup today for me. Last night I ran it just fine, was flying from FT KBOS and had to quit mid flight...went to Main Menu and exited like normal. First startup today made it look like my sim shut down incorrectly last night because it said Normal Mode or Safe Mode. I chose normal and then I get this new error! Oh this sim... for goodness sake.... The sim eventually loads to the Main Menu (but shows this error)and once I click this it restarts as if my logon to xbox live was lost...and just loops back to the main menu with this error. running process by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

May 1, 20224 yr Author Reboot no change - I ran it in safe mode for now and it gets me to the menu without the error. May 1, 20224 yr If it runs in safe mode, I would assume it relates to something in your community folder. Odd message if that is the case though. Other than an antivirus, antimalware program or a Russian hacker, the only other thing that springs to mind is the google maps addon which might throw up something. Have you scrolled through your running processes in task manager? Anything jump out to you there? May 1, 20224 yr I had it once, last night. I also had TDS GTNXI firing up during the MSFS start up, [before I got to the Scenario set up screens]. Hadn't had that before with TDS, it usually starts as the chosen scenario is loading. I shut everything down & then started again & no early TDS, or the message, since. Not sure what it was. T45
May 1, 20224 yr Author After loading into Safe Mode (FS not windows), and then loading again with my addon linker cleared of addons it booted into the sim ok. Then I ran it again with all my addons and its normal as well. I also installed that windows update. So if anything I have more items running but no more error. Ugh - now I don't know what the actual cause of the error was! | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
May 1, 20224 yr I suspect it could have been windows updates trying to install the KB.
