Sao Paolo to Rio SBRJ RNAV rwy 02R approach. Like the above approach, this is a truly spectacular one as you descend alarmingly low over the favelas, whereupon you have to make a hard turn next to Sugarloaf Mountain onto the final. There‘s an excellent payware scenery for this airport I can only recommend, which includes loads of custom buildings and landmarks, even moving cable cars.

I really have to try this one! Any good Brazilian liveries out there for the PMDG/FBW?

LSGG Sion - keep coming back to this one. Agreed that Bilbao is spectacular - especially ILS rwy 12 over the harbour.

For the better diversity, you might want to try FlightAware's web site at

https://flightaware.com/live/aircrafttype/B737?;offset=0;order=filed_ete;sort=ASC

This shows you the current B737s in the air at a given moment sorted by time enroute.

Not surprisingly,

https://flightaware.com/live/aircrafttype/A320?;offset=0;order=filed_ete;sort=ASC

does the same for the A320.

And for you long-haulers, try

https://flightaware.com/live/aircrafttype/B737?;offset=0;order=filed_ete;sort=DESC

and

https://flightaware.com/live/aircrafttype/A320?;offset=0;order=filed_ete;sort=DESC

which show you the longest flights being flown at the current time by the respective aircraft. Lots of choices.

Cheers.

PS I do realize that FlightAware emphasizes US routes and would be happy to hear of other sites that provide better representation around the world.

Indeed, the harbour and the surrounding hills look incredible now.

A similar approach is LFMN Nice rwy 22L/R and LYTV Tivat rwy 14, with turns on short final.

Great thread! Lots of good looking suggestions here. This is already like 6-12 months of sim flying! Nice!🙂

My absolute favourite is CYYC-CYVR.  Gorgeous scenery over the Canadian Rockies and just over an hour.  Flown by Air Canada and WestJet often in A320s and 737s.

CYEG-CYVR would provide a similar but different perspective and it’s a bit longer.

I just flew CYEG-KRNT the other day, and it was nice except that the live weather stopped at 300 nm, just when I was approaching Renton.

Other routes I like:

Anything to MHTG (recently, 737/A320 no longer fly into this airport, but we can sim them doing the circling approach still...)
anything the MNMG (nice view of volcanoes on either approach)

These are other than what everyone else mentioned (innsbruck, LPPT/LPPR, Tivat, Skiathos, SEQM, Bogota, KLGA highway approach, etc.).

VEPT (Payware) to VNKT (Its better than the VIDP to VNKT as this is much shorter)

Same with VEPT To VQPR (Rwy 13)

VOGO to VABB (Rwy 9)

VOMM to VOHS (Rwy 27) and VOHS to VOMM Rwy 25

All freeware airports.

Some of the short trips you guys may not be familiar with.

I also like KBOS to KLGA (Rwy 13)

KBDL to KLGA (Rwy 13)

OTHH - OMDB

KSAN - KAVX

VMMC To VHHX (Rwy 13)

Not very interesting. My Go to Home airport. KDFW to KIAH (Come on Venturi when will I get KIAH)

I seriously cannot believe nobody has mentioned NZWN - NZQN. Has to be the shortest most beautiful route I can think of.

Good suggestion, and I agree Delhi-Kathmandu isn’t that short. Did you buy Patna on flightsim.to?
