Good suggestion, and I agree Delhi-Kathmandu isn’t that short. Did you buy Patna on flightsim.to?

Yes. Its much smaller than VIPD but what the heck to take off its ok. Its a Single runway airport. I Bogut it just  for VIPD and VQPR.

With WU9 coming out tomorrow (Italy and Malta) I would suggest any flight between two Italian cities. It will take between 40 to 90 minutes and it will be quite visually great.

I would suggest Rome Fiumicino (LIRF) or Ciampino (LIRA), Palermo (LICJ), Olbia (LIEO), Milan Linate (LIML), Naples (LIRN), Florence (LIRQ), Bologna (LIPE), Reggio Calabria (LICR, nice procedure on IGS13), Genova (LIMJ)

LSZH (Zurich) to LSGG (Geneva); takes about 1/2 hour.

It's tomorrow already? How wonderful. My Italian favourites are probably LIRQ and LIML - both amazing payware addons.

My absolute favourite is CYYC-CYVR.

Are you using FSimStudios CYVR? What about payware for CYYC?

Great thread I love short mainline jet flights!

They’ve always fascinated me ever since I flew a UA 727-200 KMSN to KORD in 19 minutes as a teenager.

I had the pleasure of flying United 737-800 from KMKE Milwaukee to KORD before just a few years back as a scheduled flight...except with the circling and taxiing it took like 45 minutes when just driving (or perhaps even walking) would have been nearly as fast.

P.S. I was once on a UA 737-300 in the 1990s that did Milwaukee to O’Hare in 13 minutes!

These short flight recommendations are awesome because as much as I love flight simming the long flights are just TOO long for me.

For historical reasons, Los Angeles - San Diego is a great flight. It reminds me of the good ol' times with Sublogic ATP Flight Assignment (it was the first flight, and the aircraft was a 737)

Would it be possible to do these short flights using a 777 and or 747? Since they are my favroite planes.

Also with some flights short as 30 minutes, what cruising flight altitude should you use?

Rough rule of thumb for jets, for legs less than 300 NM, use the distance in NM as a flight level (e.g. 250 miles <-> FL250)

Yes FSimStudios YVR and Simaddons YYC (until FSimStudios eventually does YYC).

I don‘t see why it wouldn‘t be possible, as long as the runway is long enough. Regarding cruise altitude, I let Simbrief decide.
