Fenix Engine sounds

Featured Replies

Is there a way to turn down the eng  sounds down abit,  tried going to general options  turned  down  engs  to zero  didn't  have  any  effect at all. Reason being  is trying  to use pilot2atc  and  found out the replies in the  air  is  very  quiet  and  hard  to hear  with the  eng  sounds. The only  way i found  to  get  the  eng  sounds  to  a min  is  to   turn  my  head  phone  simulation  to  on.

Thought  there  might  be a sound  option  in the  cdu  but  couldnt  find  it

Some users have complained that the engine sounds in the cockpit are not loud enough. To me they sound normal.

I find them a bit too quiet in the cockpit, and much too quiet in the cabin. You must the first who thinks they are too loud.
As for your question, no that's possible at the moment. You could however just turn down MSFS volume in general and turn up P2ATC's

To me, the engine sounds in the cabin seem a bit too quiet compared to the flight deck, but then again I‘ve never been in a real A320 cockpit. The „barking dog“, on the other hand, sounds just about right compared to the overall noise in the cabin. But I was wondering if it‘s realistic that you can‘t hear the PTU in the cockpit.

It is. With flight deck doors closed at least.

First time I started the Fenix I had to go to the external camera to see if the engines were actually running as the VC was so quiet. Having never sat in the real thing, perhaps this is normal ?

Funny read, to quiet....to loud

Might well be down to your sound systerm. Also how good it is and how its set up.

The only way for Fenix to make everyone happy would be some sliders.😜

I think they sound pretty good to me. I absolutely love the low grumble that they make when the power is reduced, they've absolutely nailed that.

the Fenix is bugged right now in that the in-game volume sliders aren't effecting the Fenix A320's volume, and there's no other way to change it.

on that note, they have been dead silent on further updates, so who knows what's going on at this point.

Fenix actually state that all sound sliders in the sim, apart from music, should be set to 100%.

yep  setting  the sliders  in the  general  section of  sound  has  no effect even  setting  them  to zero  has  no effect
