It's rather basic, but so is the one from Amsim I think. Not worth upgrading in my opinion, but I'm only judging from the screenshots. I'd say load in on Asobos airport and see if it's okay for you, and then compare to the one from Amsim. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
June 5, 20223 yr It's not bad, but a little too steep in the north parking slots - make sure you set brakes / chocks firm 🙂 Edited June 5, 20223 yr by jcomm Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
June 6, 20223 yr Yeah I've considered the payware as well. But stumbled across some orbx threads where people aggressively were demanding refunds right out of the gate. I saw the dev claimed updates were coming. But I never saw if they did or not. Perhaps they did? 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
June 6, 20223 yr The simple fact the default one doesn't have the curved LDIN lights in Gelo and Rosário on the approach to runway 05 and the payware does, I think makes it worth it. March 11, 20233 yr Great video, but a not so small correction: Miguel Albuquerque isn't or weren't the President of Portugal. He is the President of the autonomous regional government of Madeira.

March 11, 20233 yr I've been wondering about LPMA for a while now so have found this thread quite interesting. For now I am using the ASOBO one as I don't go there very often, but if I was a regular visitor, I might be tempted to get the payware version. Just a point - If you go for the payware version, I suspect you may have to disable the ASOBO one in your content manager. March 11, 20233 yr I have both versions. Neither the handcrafted or the payware are super impressive. But perhaps the most unimpressive thing is actually the non airport surrounding area. The whole area needs a lot of work. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
March 11, 20233 yr AmSim's version is far far better than default Asobo. It's a whole different world. Oh, and lights + sloped runway too.
