PILOT'S LEAL Stay away from it

First sorry forcmy bad English ..

The latest LEAL update from pilots is a disgrace. Invisible walls in the taxiways and abyssal holes that destroy your undercarriage. I won't talk about the poor airport optimisation.....

It's the first and last thing I bought from those people, I don't know how they dare to publish something like that when doing a 5 minutes test you realize it.It is an airport that has never worked well...

Their airports for P3D were very good to excellent. When they released KCDK for MSFS, I felt that the price was out of touch with the new sim so I passed. It has gone on sale many times at the MP store and I still passed.

You can contact their support to see if they will provide you with some help.

Yes, I have already written to them, it is an airport that has never worked well with a very bad performance, but the last update is a botch, it is impossible to taxi to runway 10 and that is a test of 5 minutes or less.

Thanks for the heads up, that was actually something on my list (in case of a sale), so I'll scratch that I guess.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

For those who have bought it, new version out,

LEAL - Alicante Airport MSFS (full install)
18.07.2022 (R1.5.2, V1.5.2; Size 1.87GB)

Maybe worth a try! 🤔

From the développer on Facebook

Today we have released an update for LEAL - Alicante Airport for MSFS.

This brings it up to V 1.5.2 and it contains the follwing changes and improvements:

.) Mesh adjustment on taxiways

We apologize for the still persistent uneven and bumpy taxiways at our Alicante Airport scenery for MSFS. The actual custom mesh that we have designed for LEAL is smooth and has none of these issue, you can test and check this for yourself by disabling the persistent photogrammetry layer at LEAL by going to the MSFS settings at GENERAL OPTIONS - DATA and turning the photogrammetry to OFF.

This particular issue is evident at airports that Asobo has furnished with a default photogrammetry layer. Due to a bug it is currently not possible to completely exclude photogrammetry when using custom mesh, at least not at LEAL. This is a great shame, since one of the key assets and part of the high quality of our airport sceneries is the implementation of very detailed custom mesh. We and other affected developers are in contact with Asobo to have this bug fixed, which will facilitate removing any interference and issues caused by default photogrammetry without the need of a further patch of our airports. There is a workaround we can offer for now, which entails going to the MSFS settings at GENERAL OPTIONS - DATA and turning the photogrammetry to OFF. The fact that this removes the uneven and bumpy taxiways bears testimony to the fact that our custom mesh is actually not causing any issues at all, and that the culprit is the persistent default photogrammetry layer at LEAL.

Who cares and needs flat runways?, blablabla, are we real pilots or hobbyist amateurs? be serious, stop moaning for minimal details without importance that a REAL pilot wouldn´t notice.

Having just downloaded the update, I do not recognise your complaints at all. Did you follow their installation instructions to the letter? Do you have photogrammetry off?

Hope you get it sorted to your satisfaction, have you contacted the developer?

Hobby amateurs…

FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠

I'm not own that airport bug i'm kinda shocked at 2022 we still need to have something like "installation instructions" for an airport (which is obviously just pretty simple and static 3D scene).

All I want is a simple button, better inside the simulator, where I can click, pay, have it!

Developers- please, please....keep the documentation and instructions for "cold & dark startup guide" or "normal procedure" documents and not for super simple 3D scene (it's actually just a folder!!!)
