I won't be getting before it arrives on the JF store so hopefully that gives time for some reviews to be released.

Yes, I like my JF reward points!

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

I am tempted to get it, as we know the flight model and sounds should be decent being from Airplane heaven.

It was the absurd flight physics of their FSX/P3D Chipmunk that first put me off them. It took off like a startled sparrow, completely unlike the real aircraft. Their fully-fueled, bomb-laden SB2C did similar in still-air conditions, even without the benefit of a carrier's headwind. The C-46, fully laden, could be at over a thousand feet up by the time it crossed the runway threshold at the other end - and then it hardly accelerated at all. I will admit the external models were beautiful, but the flight dynamics were dreadful, even to the point of Just Flight trying to rectify them. I'm open to persuasion, however.

They also seems to be WAAAAY cheaper for AH planes than anywhere else.

OK.  Let's hope then!  I have their Cessna 140 and the Spitfire mk1a, and they seem alright, but obviously I don't know if the flight models are authentic.
Like you say above though, you can tell instinctively if something feels a bit too wrong.

Curious - the pics all seem to be of the Beech 18.....

I thought they were the Electra ? All old planes look alike to me 😉

Chipmunk is up on JF store now and as expected it's way cheaper at £18.99

Ahhh...that’s more like it for a trip down memory lane.

For complete authenticity the front cockpit and face mask should give off a distinct whiff of rubber and vomit and the guy in the back will be a grumpy, middle aged, Polish bus driver and ex-Spitfire pilot.

Yep, that price is low enough to give it a try.

First impressions aren't bad either - doesn't seem to be able to tow the new Premium version of the Discus glider but otherwise seems promising.

Not a big fan of the other AH airplanes, this doesn't look bad visually. Will look forward to reviews.

There were chipmunks and fox moths and tiger moths too. Mosquitoes, flamingoes, and dragons that flew.  Otters and buffaloes, and caribous...
