July 26, 20223 yr Hi folks I bought the Fenix A320 MS2020 a couple of weeks ago, and I'm happy with it, apart from a taxi problem on 2 occasions. The push back, and taxi from the gate to the runway hold position goes without any issue. The aircraft is stopped, with parking brake on. I get "line up" from atc, I release the parking brake, advance throttles appropriately, but, in spite of the nose wheel and main gear wheels all turning, the aircraft does not move. This has only happened twice, out of 10 flights...and ground conditions are dry. The toe brakes are only used minimally. I can't think of any reason why wheels are not "gripping". Has anyone experienced this problem? Regards Andy andy a

July 26, 20223 yr I,ve experienced this too on various occasions with other aircraft and I wonder if it's a glitch in the airport scenery, maybe a free addon ? Does it just happen at specific spots at a given airport. Cheers

I exit the sim, reboot and reload the same AC at the same spot, and everything is fine. Mystery. Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
July 26, 20223 yr I had this exact problem one time about a week ago. It was with the 737-700 though. Wheels were moving, but the aircraft was not. No way to get out of it and had to restart the sim. Interesting to hear about it happening to other people with various aircraft. Very strange problem and seemingly rare. It was a bummer though to get a flight all prepped and ready to taxi and you can't move.
July 26, 20223 yr Well if it's a scenery thing you could slew forward and try again. Anyway I've never had that before. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
July 26, 20223 yr Sometimes tapping the toe brakes, even if the brakes are off will cause you to "unstick" and get moving again. I've had this since launch. Thomas Derbyshire

That was one part of many things I tried and checked out for over a half hour trying to get the plane to move.. no joy. I believe that somewhere in the sim's logic, it thinks the plane is moving as you can see the wheels turning. The plane itself just won't move. I hope I never encounter that again. Hopefully, ASOBO makes mention of it being resolved in SU10. That is if they even know that it is a thing. 🙂
July 26, 20223 yr Author Thank you all very much for your replies. As a few others are also experiencing the same problem intermittently, probably some bug lurking around. The external view shows no signs of overheating, chocks are away, and the push back function, initiated via the EFB is fine. I've tried tapping the toe brakes too, but to no avail. All wheels are turning, but the Bus isn't moving. It's like when you have a car driver trying to get traction on a snowbound road, high revs, but no traction. I'll just ask the Pax to get off and give the think a push to get it rolling!😉 Again, my thanks to all Regards Andy Edited July 26, 20223 yr by andy a typo andy a
