GSX Pro Manual

Tenho certeza de que esse não é o caso do MSFS. não vi nenhuma demonstração de aeroporto ou demonstração de GSX disponível (apenas para FSX).

The demo version is available for KSFO, LIMC and EDDM airports. It has no time limit and all functions work, just take off and land at these airports. It's in the GSX manual.

Do you have the link to download the MSFS demo version? I only see a 'buy GSX' option.

Yeah, right, but just as almost everything else in GSX the manual probably also is ported straight from FSX/P3D...? 😜

But anyway, the problem is we can't check the manual (as should be clear by now). On the site you can download versions for other sims but not for MSFS. You can only buy it. In order to see the manual you are referring too I would first have to install GSX but I can't because I can't download a demo version of it and I don't want to buy it before I've seen the manual. We are running in circles here.

There IS no seperate demo version with FSDT products. You download the full versions and can use them in demo mode before activating them.

Clearly says so in FAQ on their website.

All FSDreamTeam products are distributed as a Try-Before-Buy. You will freely download a Demo version, that will run for about 5 minutes at time (the timer restarts if you exit and enter Flight Simulator so the Demo can be launched an unlimited number of times). The Demo is exactly like the full scenery, but it will only run for a few minutes at time. At the end of the Demo, all main buildings will disappear, and it will be necessary to launch Flight Simulator again, to have another Demo time.

So how do I do this for MSFS? Do I have to download the FSDT Universal Installer and will it let me install GSX without having to buy it? Because there is no full installer to download on the FSDT site. BTW The quote from the FAQ seems to be about scenery, not GSX.

Not very intuitive but just enter anything in the activation window. You can then install to test and get at the manual.

Yes, I am doubting too that GSX has any kind of demo version. If so, where is the link to try GSX before you buy, please?

Exactly.

Guys, how often do I have repeat this now? Just download it via the FSDT Universal installer. That's all there is to it. ALL FSDT products work this way. In their unactivated state they default to trial mode. If you like them you buy them and activate them.

Perhaps a picture will help out?
(I own no GSX products and used an entirely random key press to enter the activation code)

Well, actually... this is the first time you or anyone else said you have to use the universal installer... 😉 The last few posts made me guess this was the case but earlier on it was totally unclear how to obtain the demo! But well, it is clear now! 🙂 I might give GSX a try this weekend! And check out the manual. 😉

I have to admit if you read the manual (which you can't do without installing) it isn't clear how to bypass the activation code if you don't own any FSDT airport and want trial or demo mode.  The "universal installer" concept seems to be used by a number of devs.

Don't bypass anything.

I feel like I am repeating myself.

Just ignore the activation.

You only need that if you want to get out of trial Mode.
