Who counts manually anymore?  😉 hehe. Not the textures at least, the airlines sure and it's way faster than loading AI companion.

I just timed how long it took for AIC to present its interface. 17 seconds on the PC in my sig,

Anyway, after looking at the facilities in AIC Stats it isn't possible to identify airlines associated with a chosen aircraft. I've asked koala if it can be added.

I've run AIG this morning and Azul Cargo has two aircraft I don't have - Embraer 195 and Cessna 208B Super CargoMaster.

How do I get freeware alternatives?

C208 is 100% freeware, no payware option at all.

Then why wasn't it downloaded when I selected Azul Cargo?

I am quite happy with Live Traffic + AIG liveries. Generally I fly on specific world regions and then move on after a couple months. That way, I do not have to fiddle with external AI programs and am able to see relevant traffic that generally matches what's on FR24 and live ATC.

Only issue I have with live traffic is the ground traffic being all kinds of weird. Primary reason I use live/AI traffic is for the ground movements, taxi in queue, etc. Once in the air the idea is very much NOT to get too close to other aircraft 😄

Exactly, you really shouldn't be seeing much traffic while in flight as it is. The real time traffic from MSFS even when using AIG liveries takes too long to produce a good amount of traffic and most aircraft disappear shortly after parking as they turn off their transponder.

I've never seen live traffic vanish after parking. I've seen the reverse, they stay spawned forever until you end the flight. Even if I turn off live traffic or fly to another airport 2 hours away.

Or shortly after landing, in a loooot of cases 😞

If an aircraft vanishes after landing, it's normally because there's no available parking. Either because there's no free slots or there's no parking spaces big enough for the aircraft.

A lot of the default airports have terrible parking space sizes.

For me, the AIG TC app takes longer to load than the sim, and during the loading process, it’s unresponsive (appears to have hung according to Windows) and when it finally loads, the map view takes another few minutes to load. It’s horrible for me.

I was talking about Ai Companion, not AIGTC.

Either way, airports are far too sparsely populated than they should be with the real time traffic. It's definitely better than nothing but still has a long way to go. The payware live traffic is much better but still has too many quirks for me to want to pay for it.
