It seems that all LR servers went kaput. Not even the installers are working for me.

Purchased and am installing now! Congratulations to LR on the launch.

I look forward to having XP and MSFS on my system! It's an exciting time for Flight Simmers.

You all NEED to stop buying this software at this time. After I'm done downloading it you can get it. It won't even take my money right now lol!!!

you would expect higher frame in XP12 with a system like yours.

First XP12 plane is out today as well the VSkyLabs Maule M-7-235B - they did say last week they were going to release it the same day XP12 came out and so they did.

can anyone suggest if it's worth the cost or worth the upgrade?

Depends if you can afford it or not. For me I can afford the 75 Canadian dollars and I get to enjoy the latest stuff. I don't mind spending the money but I do understand. Some just don't have it and some just don't want it. X-Plane has been a good product in the past and I am glad they decided to update it, it needed it. X-Plane 12 can only get better from this point on.

Well this youtube review started out with the sim looking good (interior cabin, rain affects). But without online graphics, the scenery around LAX later on was not so impressive. Its going to take a lot of downloaded scenery addons to make this sim shine, most likely.

This is the "Early Access" release. Think of it like a public beta. If you buy it now, you get XP 12 + XP 11, but XP 12 has some rough edges right now. If you have to ask this question, I would say that it's not worth the cost right now, check in a month or two.

It's hard to say as this is everyone's personal opinion. You can try the demo for free and determine for yourself if it's worth it.
