September 14, 20223 yr I have had FS2020 for a couple of years but have only recently starting doing more than 'dabbling'. (I'm a long time user of 'the other sim'.) I noticed yesterday that the art deco terminal building at Shoreham looks as if it is made from plywood, in FS2020. I cannot recall if this has always been the case or that I noticed it only yesterday. All my other FS2020 scenery (default only) seems to be okay, as does the rest of EGKA. FWIW, I used to live only a few miles from Shoreham and have visited the place several times - so I do know what it's meant to look like! I performed an unsuccessful app repair. Would an app reset help? Any advice appreciated. https://www.dropbox.com/s/5uqzj8mcstf5grj/Screenshot 2022-09-13 195904.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/w3vw1fkx3mb213z/Screenshot 2022-09-14 094548.jpg?dl=0 Apologies if this is in the wrong part of the forum.
September 14, 20223 yr The buildings are auto generated by the mod together with Bing maps satellite images. Any airfield not specifically modelled by the developers will only have a vague similarity to reality. The explains the situation fairly well: https://www.eurogamer.net/flight-simulator-airport-list-standard-deluxe-premium-hand-crafted-airport-listed-7043 CJ
September 14, 20223 yr There is a payware version of Shoreham available, but Superspud's freeware version is excellent (or is it by MKVY). Whichever, they both do incredible stuff for msfs) Edited September 14, 20223 yr by cianpars Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
September 14, 20223 yr Author Thanks @CJ1045 and @cianpars I mucked around with a freeware EGKA yesterday, too, which was okay. I'd forgotten that the building would be auto-generated. https://www.dropbox.com/s/5fyddjdwws9u2ff/Screenshot 2022-09-13 200827.jpg?dl=0

September 14, 20223 yr I can honestly say I will never look at the clock. Nor would I if I was flying from Shoreham for real. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

IniBuilds EGKA is much better although it has a bit of a performance hit. September 14, 20223 yr I like to fly from Shoreham from time to time, so it would be worth me paying for the airport, but MKVYs freeware airport is so good, I didn't feel the need to part with any money. Some of the stuff on flightsim.to is up to payware quality and even the ones that are not are always better than the default. I've downloaded hundreds of addons from there and have very rarely deleted any (though my 1TB SSD is nearly full so I may have to).
