September 14, 20223 yr Phew! This was the first unmanned launch in a long time. Just scientific packages onboard. If it had been manned, that's a lot of G for the occupants. A real kick in the seat of the pants. I believe any occupants would have been on their backs though which helps. 9G I've heard. At least they know the abort system works, although if 90 years old Captain Kirk had been onboard he's have had quite an experience.
September 14, 20223 yr "It appears we experienced an anomaly in today's flight"... ehhhhh... yup! Good test of the crew capsule escape system. September 15, 20223 yr The more launches there are the more mishaps there are going to be. The fact that they have an abort system that works shows they are expecting mishaps. Kinda like airbags in automobiles. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
