Getting into the WT CJ4

Featured Replies

Both of those versions are for SU9.

If you are using SU10 beta then there is a replacement panel.cfg available from Working Title's Discord...

why they have to hide that on Discord somewhere and not even mention it when they have all their other stuff on their official site 😪 .....

"@everyone Hey there. The WT CJ4 mod will currently show white screens when you are on the SU10 BETA. You can drop the attached panel.cfg into Community\workingtitle-aircraft-cj4\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_CJ4\panel to fix it."

OK I did this but now I get the partial panel displays, besides a restart to attempt to fix it (which is not the fastest 'fix' in the world to be sure) any other ideas?

Also how many default liveries are there? I'm pretty sure I've removed any others I had and reinstalled the CJ4 but just to check myself...

Make sure your PMS GTN750 is fully up to date (older version have a conflict with a core sim library), and make sure your avionics switch is not set to Dispatch.

Have we come up with a solution for the white screens? Happening to me today for the first time.

Make sure you have the latest version, are not using any conflicting mods and don't use an "old" livery (or old cockpit texture mod).

Think that covers it....

This version is only getting compatibility updates. So no new features or bug fixes.

There is a completely new version (aka the CJ4 Refresh), coming out before the end of the year.

I've never had any issues with this aircraft (though I've never run it in a beta build).  I have the latest version of the WT mod: v0.12.14.

It's still running beautifully in my SU10 sim version - here's what I have loaded (at the max) in my Community folder when I use it.  Please note the liveries (downloaded from links on the WT site).  I usually don't load up more than a couple liveries at a time:

I can't recall if any of these liveries had any issues at the outset as I've been using them for some time. The only issue I can think of might be interiors showing a pink hue - if that happened it was easily corrected with a slight edit of the texture.cfg file of that livery.

I do get a pink interior sometimes.   Could you elaborate on the slight edit?

Thanks a bunch,

Open the texture.cfg file for each instance of an aircraft livery and make sure the LAST line in the list is this:

fallback.6=..\..\..\..\texture\Planes_Generic

where "6" is the last in the list of other texture entries. So if you have 4 entries it will be:

fallback.5=..\..\..\..\texture\Planes_Generic
