XEnviro For MSFS Released

Not so much if your read them properly. I was an XP11 user. The issue was that not one person on the Org was prepared to acknowledge that there was anything whatsoever of merit in MSFS. And as far as XEnviro goes it should not have been necessary in the first place if Meyer had not sat back fat on his Laurels. It was only the advent of MSFS that shook him, too late, out of his complacency.

Well, I often state there are plenty of benefits with MSFS on the org forums.  The language you use above proves my point of how your posts over there are negative.  There is plenty to like about XP12, would you agree?

Default P3D / XP got boring pretty quickly hence people buying addons for lights, cartoon people walking up stairs etc. We have a wonderfully dynamic, high fidelity simulator now. Most of these addons aren't needed as our boredom threshold is much higher.

The amount of default MSFS defending that goes on makes me wonder

For some reason, not even you would defend default XP. I wonder why 😉

I'm sure there is. I tried the demo but found it still outdated and not up to the standard of MSFS. I cannot afford the cost of supporting two sims.

If anybody buys in to a product that the developer openly states the clouds needs work, then criticises the clouds as poor, then I find that to be bashing the product for no good reason.

and the next line this:

I can't believe how poor some of the MSFS clouds are after two years, but I love the product as a whole.

is like comedy.

Well, Q8 stream showed the accuracy of MSFS stock weather to be way out.

It was actually the opposite. He stated xEnviro was more accurate but this was clearly not the case, beginning with the weather at start (LSZH) being completely wrong. But he couldn’t guess because he only compared with the metar (being limited to a height of 5000ft). And the 3 examples at the end looked more acurate in default MSFS.
