I am currently at KSEA and have seen dozens of departures and a few arrivals. I have only seen about four arrivals in this time, so I suspect something is not working correctly with SU11 Beta. Still, I am enjoying these apps. Begs the question: If third party developers can get the AI to behave this well, why is it so difficult for ASOBO/MSFS? Robin

Although both these proggy's are a big step forward, i still have quite some airplanes blocking the runway after landing which still creates quite a bit go-arounds and low fly-by's. Just doing some spotting at EBBR, runways 25L and 25R are blocked atm by aircraft not exiting the runway after landing (both EasyJet...do they want to make a statement?). Creates go-arounds, and already a few blocked airplanes that are ready to take-off but can't by the occupied runways. And then they vanish... November 2, 20223 yr Is that default EBBR or addon? I find that a lot of issues are due to errors in the airport layout, not just with the default airports but also the handcrafted airports from special editions and WUs. We really need a set of good AFCADs. I've been looking into the scenery editor to try it myself but it seems that can get quite complicated. With AIFlow/AIGround I find the situation much improved in that it drastically reduces (but does not eliminate) go arounds and taxiing aircraft getting stuck. Maybe it is because I am watching traffic more closely now, but I am noticing perhaps more frequent missed approaches because the AI is too high, and even a few oddities like ATC telling off the AI for taking off without clearance 😃 Undercarriage lever a bit sticky was it, Sir?
November 2, 20223 yr Doing some testing at Drzewiecki's KMDW (no static set in Orbx Central). AIFlow+AIGround (default settings). FSLTL injector set to IFR85 VFR0 parked 0 radius 50km. 10% offline GA (SimFlea). SU10. I also have aig-aitraffic-oci-beta in the community folder but I deleted all the FAIB folders (FSLTL can't use them anyway as far as I understand - that's 20GB out of more than 40GB). I would say most things worked ok. 10 airliners pushed back and started taxiing to the active runways at pretty much the same time. One got stuck in the middle of 13C while crossing it. It started moving again after perhaps 5 minutes. 13R/L seems to be a poor choice for airliners, but I guess that’s on Asobo’s logic. 13L is only 1567m hence AI were not able to get airborne in time. 13R is even worse, being only 1167m and very narrow, lol. All 10 AI eventually departed using 13 left, center and right. Have not seen any landings yet, but I see a few on approach to KMDW in littlenavmap. Taxi speed definitely higher than default. It's not good. Planes use RWY 19 for takeoff and landing while flightradar24 shows that 25L and 25R are in use. First landing plane didn't exit RWY 19, therefore blocked 2 planes that would take-off on RWY19. When it vanished after time-out, one of the blocked planes moved about 10m and stopped again while the 2nd plane that attempted to land went around, the 3th landed but again didn't exit the runway. Traffic is just a total immersion killer. Lot's of eye-candy in FS2020 but for the rest... i can hardly call it a simulation. I don't see planes taxing, landing and departing when I load up, and all the planes are waiting for pushback. I don't get the feeling I am entering an airport that is already alive, but rather my entering the airport is what brings it to life. As I (maybe) mentioned earlier in this thread, I did some testing at OMDB the other day, and both runway directions for 12L/30R were in use simultaneously.
