Oh man I just bought that M346 jet.

Also, there's hardly any screenshots at their site - and they are low resolution.  I need 4k shots of the cockpit to make a real determination.

It's supposed to be a very detailed and in depth addon.
I'll wait for some reviews before I buy it, but I've had some of their products in the past (I think it was the PC-9), and it was pretty good. A lot of fun to fly.

I was thinking it was a tad steep at $35 till I realised those were AUD not USD

Oh yeah so that's about 22.50 USD at the moment.

Oh it is?  Typically IRIS just does a base level sort of like Carenado.  I really enjoy these fast single turboprops so it's at least on my radar.

Well if anyone buys this I'd love to see some 4K cockpit shots!

Also does it sound as good as this?

I was disappointed by the sounds in the reviews I have seen... but this is a genre I love. Tour with it, and have some fun with it.

At least that's what my impression was. Apparently Pilatus signed off on their work, but I guess it doesn't really mean anything to have in depth it is.

I'm skeptical when that happens.  In one of the MSFS intro videos Textron was touting the representation of their King Air 350i.  Ermm....the cockpit wasn't even using realistic-looking avionics lol.

picked it up...cant for the life of me figure out how to close the canopy in vr once the pin is removed

I wasn't a huge fan of Iris' PC-9 series for P3D due to lack of systems depth and glaring flight model issues, but the PC-21 for MSFS2020 looks like it has promise.   I'm at least intrigued by some of the videos coming out since it was released.

Baby steps.  Getting that canopy closed is your first challenge right out of the gate.  Stick with it and keep practicing - it'll come to you.    😉
