Just did a short hop from Reno to Salt Lake.  When using the drone view, the view gradually rolls and doesn't stay horizontal.  Is there a workaround for this ?

Then, flying IFR, on descent to Salt Lake, ATC asks for altitudes of 9000 to 10000 every 5-10 seconds.  Sometimes 9300, sometimes 9400, other times back to 10.000.  This occurs repeatedly until the controller hands me off to approach.  Not a deal breaker, but definitely kills the "immersion".  Any workaround for this ??

Great sim overall though

Spacebar, but it doesn't always seem to work.

spacebar levels the drone view ?

The Drone view roll is something that showed up for me several SUs ago - very upsetting.  I did make a Zendesk report on it but haven't heard anything more about it.  I've gotten used to it and roll it back every time I use the view.  I didn't know about the Spacebar - will give it a try on the next flight.

As far as when ATC goes nuts, I cancel IFR and, if available, go with Flight Following.  Just before I reach my TOD I then attempt to reinitiate the original IFR plan - that normally works.  Occasionally I will get one more errant altitude call and then they're suddenly asking me to descend.

If you are using a X box controller for drone view , unplug it and plug it back in.

thanks for the spacebar suggestion.  It does level the horizon but it also recenters the view which, for me, is nearly as annoying as the horizon tilt in the first place.  But do appreciate the suggestions.

The camera doesn't change it actually stays fixed which is a problem since you fly around the ellipsoidal planet.

- Drone camera angle changes relative to Earth as you fly

- Therefore Earth is round

sshh don't tell the flat Earthers!

My experience is, that it only rolls when I tilted the drone camera and look again later on.
By pressing the spacebar the camera resets and when I look later on then, without having tilted it, the camera remains straight.

They better should call it an airplane/scenery sim instead of a flightsim. The AI behaviour (ATC and AI airplanes) is just ridiculous and sim unworthy. That this still isn't addressed 2,5 years after release is just unbelievable.

There has never been any simulator that had ATC that was worth anything. That is why there are so many ATC add ons.

That's not a good excuse.

Well tell us what is better, and some of the other sims have been around for several decades.
