New announcement Fenix A320

Featured Replies

Personally I really like the look of both the outside and inside the aircraft, zero issue with the EFB either

It would be very nice to see something new, like the A318, while keep getting the original product better

This!!!

You can ask yourself why there was not a remote Cdu in the first place. Not like that is such a big thing to make write software like that!

I am getting really suspicious that it is not allowed by Prosim. I wanted to ask this question again on Discord but can not ask anything anymore on discord. Tons of people have already asked for this! So if Fenix is the developer who is listening so well to their community, why it is not there? Also it is not possible for Aviaworx to create one because there is no output values?

It would be so great to have this!

This is why FSL will be the superior choice if they ever released for MSFS. No ProSim baggage.

At least Prosim doesn't put malware on your system..😉

So if ProSim is setup to run on a separate CPU core, how much baggage does it add?  Can it be quantified?
Does it affect sim and thus Fenix performance, especially if the Fenix doesn't have this 'baggage' of its own in the sim.  After all , the Fenix cant have two flight models running surely?

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

V1 looks stunning already,  IMO. I can't imagine how much better they can possibly make it,  but I'll take Aamir's word for it because he has proven the he and the others on the Fenix team do indeed deliver on what they say. I'm flabbergasted.

It was a stunning lack of judgement, and I personally could never trust them, or feel comfortable giving them my hard earned money along with access to my system. Unfortunate to say the least.

If it's against your ethics or whatever to buy from FSL ever again, fine--you do you. But the fact is, there's no malware in FSL's current products. That's the actual fact.

what is wrong with ProSim?

A bit disappointing to hear that the IAE and external engine takes longer than expected, I feel that engine model (and therefore fuel consumption) is a vital part missing in the Fenix and basically the only thing that's on my "con"-list when deciding whether I'd like to fly the Fenix or PMDG at any given day.
Of course the circumstances are what they are. It's astonishing how many talented developers are from Ukraine (and Russia), this is definitely something I've come to realize this year.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

It is not about performance but the bagage is the license.

If you could connect all your hardware like Cdu and Overhead to Fenix then why would somebody still want to buy a expensive Prosim license?

I really love the Fenix A320 but my Pmdg with a remote overhead and remote Fmc gives me much more immersion because of that!

Pmdg and others have released all of their output values so you can use your MCP / Cdu / all hardware.

In my setup I have specially bought 2 tablets one for Fmc and one for Efb.

Also mounted a touchscreen monitor above my head for the overhead panels.

Doesn't change the fact that they "tried it". For some .. Including me .. that blacklists them period. Whatever extra feature they may offer i will do without.
