They should have done a Bond thing with this. Imagine Sean Connery played Bond in No Time to Die. Oh wait he was already dead.

Raiders of the last Ark is perhaps (is) the best adventure movie ever made. Indian Jones and Last Crusade wasn't bad. The other one(s) were all lousy. This perhaps could have been a good adventure movie featuring the intrepid archaeologist Indiana Jones and no doubt there are plenty of talented actors in their 30's who could play Indiana and no doubt the fictional character had many other interesting adventures before he got tenure and eventually took over Marcus Brody's job. Ford could now star in the more age appropriate Indiana Jones and the Case of the Lost Library Rubber Stamp Ink Tray trading in his bull whip for a zimmer frame. I'm happy to suspend my disbelief for the content of a good old action packed adventure. But I cannot suspend my disbelief regarding some Octogenarian playing the hero. Give me a brake!

And  before the Octogenarians get there nickers in twist, I'm not to far off myself. 😋

The purpose of this film is to replace Indy with a young female Indy at the end of the movie who will carry on into the future. We've seen Disney change to a female Thor wielding her hammer, a female Hulk, a female Captain America, etc. Much like in WWII airmen painted females on the plane's nose to make the plane look stronger and more powerful.

In that case the purpose of this Film is to put Lucas Films out of Business.

So also in the Video still above Ford looks just like the melted face dude standing in front of the Ark of the Covenant at the end of Raiders just as his face starts to melt. 🤣 The irony of it!🙄

No way, they won't do it. It wouldn't sell. If they do they're nuts. 

Hopefully good old Channel Islander Henry Cavill will get the part. He was in the running when Daniel Craig got it, but a bit too inexperienced. 

Why Henry should get it. 1. My daughters friends have played rugby against him. 2. He's from Jersey. 3. He's a good actor. 4. He seems a nice guy that deserves it. 5. He builds his own PC's and plays PC games. 6. He looks the part. 

And cats love him of course. 😽

Dr. Who was over for me when that total nutcase Tom Baker was replaced by the guy from All Creatures Great and Small.

I’m rooting for Henry to get the part as well. Considering all the people that are currently in the running according to the odds makers, he’d be my first choice. He’s definitely got the look for it but I’d imagine Barbara Broccoli might want him to slim down his physique a bit. Daniel Craig was definitely the most fit Bond since the 70’s, but Henry is huge compared to Craig.

My second choice would be Tom Hiddleston. I liked him in the Night Manager and could also see him playing the roll. 

As far as all the other choices the odds makers have listed, I’m not too sure I’d want to pick any of those choices.

It looks like we could still be waiting a while before a choice is made according to Barbara Broccoli. It will be interesting to see what the final decision is. As well, it will be interesting to see what story lines they come with for the next few movies. One thing I did like about the Craig era movies was how they kind of linked the villains from Casino Royal to Spectre, and a bit in NTTD.

I assume that the next movie will be a reboot of sorts, considering what happened to Bond at the end of the last one.

I think he can slim down. I mean we all know how actors stimulate muscular hypertrophy so rapidly for movies. And they have demonstrated that when they aren't doing that the bulging bits shrink pretty quick. 😏

We can get him to burn some calories playing his favorite games. He loves  Half Life, Overwatch, World of Warcraft. 

Daniel Craig was great, Best Bond so far in my opinion.
