RX6700XT/5600X combo that can do stable 45FPS in MSFS with most settings on Ultra.

Setup: RX6800 | 5800X3D + B450 | 32GB 3200MHz | X-Plane 12

youve only got to look at the org and see the countless topics and threads on the issues with fps when at dawn and dusk.

I cant use xp12 in the present state, youre not alone.

your 19 fps is already pretty close, some more tweaking and you are almost there. 😀

My eyes must be that of Superman since I can detect anything below 35FPS

yes, but ...

"we cannot see anything with our eyes operating above 22 FPS anyway"

he probably meant 22 fps per eye 😅

Please retract this nonsense without forcing me to get into this argument again.

I dont know where it came from but flat earth scientists have better proofs.

Spent the better part of today setting up XP-12. Looking forward to flying some new aircraft in 2023! My only overall criticism is the appearance of the clouds even on max quality. Distance and haze visibility realism is great.

just the part where (a lot) more than 100 milliseconds timing accuracy isnt important for flight simulation. (all you get with ~20fps)

A quick look at the Internet shows you're talking absolute rubbish.

The scientific community can't make up their mind on it. The last 3 years should teach you enough that science can be,and is wrong sometimes.

The consensus among scientists is its between 30 and 60.  There is nothing black and white that says your magic figure of 22 is correct.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/quora/2016/12/22/why-do-we-need-120hz144hz-monitors-if-the-human-eye-cant-see-beyond-60hz/

https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-highest-frame-rate-fps-that-can-be-recognized-by-human-perception-At-what-rate-do-we-essentially-stop-noticing-the-difference

That guy is alot qualified than you, and gives an incredible in depth answer.

if you hadn't mentioned it, no one would have known.

"The consensus among scientists is its between 30 and 60."

and some might even agree that 22 is less than "between 30 and 60".

Another consensus among scientists is that CONSTANT frame times are just as important for a smooth visual experience. 22 fps at constant frame times might look smoother than 30 fps with stuttering, varying frame times.

if the o.p. thinks 22 fps is amazing, so be it. more power to him.

like sound, it varies widely per person.

also like sound, if you want to please the audiophiles that want >20khz frequencies you need to sample at twice that- >40,000 samples per second.

20 is the absolute bare minimum everyone can perceive movement instead of frames, a bit like old phone networks with 8khz to capture 4khz voice.

The question about performance has been acknowledged and answered, several times.  LR will do what they can, but it's up to AMD to address some of these performance issues.  You're just clogging up the forums with the same complaints.

Its not Laminars fault many people still choose to install windows on decent hardware, LR actually gives them more modern and highly developed options.

People on windows complaining about performance is pure comedy tbh.
