Nice little "Sim Rate" tool

Featured Replies

Adjusting the Sim rate with "R" and "Ctrl + / -" never worked for me so I was looking for a different approach.
Since I didn't want to assign different keys/buttons I was hoping to find a little tool that does everything in the UI.
Went to flightsim.to and found "Sim Rate Selector" from "mike2":

Couldn't be happier, does all I want.

Yeah, I've been using this for a while now as I couldn't make it work on the keyboard either.  The added advantage is that it shows your sim rate as well.  A handy little tool.

Nice find, thank you for highlighting. I haven’t used sim rate changes too much but this will come in handy!

oohh yes thank you @teletom for the heads up, I actually very rarely use Sim Rate (aside the one time I accidentality slowed it down and didn't realise, a 1 hour flight become 2 hours and it wasn't until approach I realised what the hell was going on!), but it could become a handy little tool for potential future flights 🙂

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

I have used SimRateBandit for a while, but this looks interesting...

Should just be R and plus or minus.  Works for me fine.  I use this handy tool in VR though

R +/- works for me too in most cases, but I'm missing an indicator that a different sim rate is active.
