January 2, 20233 yr Just purchased honda jet today. I think I have it set up correctly but apparently I dont. The issue is the plane starts OK, both engines are running OK. Then I find I can not advance the throttle. When I advance the joy stick throttle and look down at the jet throttle it is shaking in position and will not advance, The shaking is telling me I must have something set wrong. But I don't know what I have missed. Thanks, Jim Brady
January 2, 20233 yr Is it possible you have more than one peripheral control mapped to the throttle, causing a conflict?
January 2, 20233 yr Move the throttle with your mouse. Once you move it up 25% or so it unlocks. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro

January 2, 20233 yr You most likely have selected the AT (auto throttle mode) button on ther mcp. You can see it in your annunciator panel if that is the case. Push the AT button once more and your throttles will move.

What hardware controls do you have in use? Are you merely starting at a runway with the engines already running? Or have you learned how to start them from cold and dark? Have you set up speciifc profiles for the Hjet for your controls? More information will likely get you fixed up without having you chase ghosts trying this and that. It's true I didn't spot that the DA62 comment was also from the OP.... but still, what has the DA62 got to do with the HJET throttles? The HJET uses custom throttle behaviour to account for the integrated cut off positions within the throttle range. The DA62 has vanilla throttles axes in MSFS. And @btacon - I've always enjoyed your mature temperament and I "like" a lot of your contributions....so, why the rather personal and nasty "clueless!" comment? Calling me out for not spotting the comment was from the OP was fair. Calling me "clueless" was not required. I apologize for my Ill behavior and next time will not be so quick to post a “gotcha” at a fellow human being. You see, I was just anxious to be the first to point out your error, of your post questioning the OP, which just like mine was in error. I hope we can both learn from this. As for the OPs reasoning behind his DA62 comparison. It’s simple to me. He was just demonstrating that his throttle setup is working and that his throttles move in ther aircraft…or at least that is how I read this it. -B Edited January 3, 20233 yr by btacon
January 3, 20233 yr Author Guys, Thanks for the feed back on the hjet throttle issue. My comment about the DA62 throttle was because someone asked it I had a conflict with the throttle set up. So I took off in the DA62 to see if its throttle work OK and it did. Based on the feed back, I found two things that most likely caused my problem. 1) I had moved the throttle out of cutoff then pressed start button. The feebback told me to press start then move the throttle using the mouse. So this is the first change I made, 2) I was told to check if I had the auto throttle ON. Now, I make sure not to turn on the AT until after takeoff. These two changes solved the problem I first reported. Thanks to all for the help you provided. Jim Brady
January 4, 20233 yr Jim - with reference to no 2 as far as i know - and use - once you are ready for take off - press the toga button on the left throttle and the AT - and the aircraft will take off by itself i suggest you follow Les O'Reily's video on use of 1.0 7 on u tube -
January 4, 20233 yr I also have an issue with the hjet...persistent low oil pressure is one engine? How do I cure this?
