East USA

It's giving me 29.92, when it should be 29.85

But clouds are fine, aren't they? There is a thick OC here in DC area.

pressure is working now, guess it was just lagging behind the other weather elements.

Just did a flight from KEF to MAN. Weather in Keflavik was exactly as the METAR said. Few clouds, temperature, pressure and wind all correct. Climbing out over the Icelandic coast, it became overcast which was correct. Then the overcast sky abruptly ended with not one cloud to be seen for the rest of the flight. Weather approaching Manchester was supposed broken clouds at 3000 but of course, not a cloud to be seen. The worst part was the sudden violent wind changes just as I established on the localizer almost causing a stick shaker to then nearly overspeeding the flaps. Live weather seems totally broken at this point which is a total immersion killer for me.

"The current situation is that Live Weather is functioning normally for some people, working intermittently for others, and not working at all for some. The team believes they have identified the root cause of the issue and are working hard to resolve it. We will provide further status updates as we have more information."

This is odd. I am flying KBWI to KORD right now. At Baltimore, the winds, altimeter, and cloud coverage matched the forecast, which is currently clear skies. I use AIG, and I had no moving traffic either on the ground or in the air. I'm at cruise altitude (fl290) and I start getting clouds over West Virginia. I didn't see them on any of the satellite weather forecasts that I looked at. That's not really the odd part. The odd part is that as soon as I got cloud coverage, I started getting visible airborne traffic. It makes me wonder if the weather problem is somehow interfering with (or blocking) AI traffic?

In yesterday's Development Update (Feb 9) they say that they're looking into the problem and think they might have identified the cause, so, we can hope for a fix sooner or later.

I am also looking forward into the announced turbulence slider... Turbulence in MFS is a plague 😞 specially in the presence of convection or at lower flight levels near any obstacles - mechanical. It's overdone, or the way the flight model deals with it is no good...

Clouds beginning over West Virginia on a flight from BWI to ORD would be 100 percent correct based on the latest GOES East satellite photo.

Clouds are working at my home airport KELM for the first time in 6 days. Seems to be fixed, but we’ll see what the weekend brings.

Posted one hour ago on the official forums;

Earlier, Azure deployed a fix that seems to have mitigated the issue. We will monitor the situation over the weekend to make sure the problem is fixed. Once we are sure full service has resumed, we will close this thread.

In the meantime, if you are still experiencing issues with any online feature, we invite you to restart the sim then restart Online Services.

Checked KIAD, KFLL, LSGG. METAR parameters and clouds look good. Keep fingers crossed.
