Yet daily, I fly from airport to airport, and all are perfectly "usuable" and far superior to the default airports I saw in P3D

As you seem to know ADE : can the ground of these these handcrafted airports be flattened with ADE ?

And if so : how do we do it ?

Even Amsterdam Schiphol has these elevations issues. In a lesser way but they exist.

I do have ADE for MSFS and if I know what the steps are I will try to fix EHAM.

Thanks in advance.

So I was able to load EHAM in ADE.

ADE does have a flatten setting which I haven't tried,  but it might not work.    https://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/threads/flatten-airport-with-ade.455333/

If it doesn't work,   what I would do is enable two-way editing for your EHAM ADE project.   Then you launch ADE and load your EHAM project in ADE.     Enabling two way editing in ADE will cause ADE to make an XML file which you can load in the MSFS project editor.    Then you start MSFS,   load into EHAM,  and then load the EHAM xml from ADE.     After that,    when you make a change and hit save in the msfs project editor it will save it to the XML.

You can load the reload the project in ADE and vice versa to sync.

Except if you land at HECA and can't physically taxi up the apron because the elevation data has put a large hill on the taxiway that even 100% thrust can't get you over...

How can Asobo think this is acceptable for a 'hand crafted airport', which, many of us paid for the deluxe version for. It's pathetic.

I'll take a gander that Asobo doesn't believe it's acceptable--it's just not been fixed yet.  It's rare BWB, this sort of thing and in fact of the myriad airports I visit this is the only one w/ this type of defect.  It wasn't this way at KDEN until some months ago--they'll fix it is my best prediction.

HECA elevation issues are mentioned as fixed in the SU12 beta. I'll check once I finish updating.

Edit: Can confirm it is fixed

I remember when I landed there there was a canyon wall right next to my arrival runway 05R, I think because the airport was sunk into the terrain, I'm curious if that's been fixed too.

well Runway 5C was the correct elevation. I didn't check the others, and I didn't notice hills around the airport.

I only checked Runway 5C at the time, but it was at the correct elevation.
