February 20, 20233 yr Author One more question: Is there any way to post an image on here? I have something it's easier to show than explain. I don't have any hosting service, so I can't post a URL.

Those with lesser versions are excluded from some really nice modded (aka study level) aircraft too. The extra stuff you get is really good value. Would recommend as well! February 21, 20233 yr Author Ok, let me try to explain: I'm pretty sure I downloaded MSFS 2020 successfully. However, in the place On MS Store sells the download, there is now a fairly large blue bar with the circle turning in it. Directly below the blue bar, it says has the blue circle with an i in it, then says "installing dependencies". I'm afraid to shut it down because I don't know what this is. B ut it's active.

Sign-in to your new imgur account (I'm assuming you are on the desktop and not mobile version) Once logged-in, click on your imgur username in the top right corner of the page, a drop-down menu will appear. Click on 'Images' in the short menu. On the new page, a button titled 'Add Images' should be present. Click on it. A new window will appear with a 'Browse' button. Click on that to open your O/S explorer window, locate the screenshot image you wish to post and double click on it. Once the screenshot has uploaded, a preview of it will appear on the web page. Click on it once. A new window on the site opens with a small example of your screenshot and a list of web addresses and buttons in a list on the right side. Choose the 'Direct Link' version (second link down) by clicking once on the 'Copy' button after the link. e.g. https://i.imgur.com/Pt9Z5J7.png Paste this link either directly in the 'Reply to this topic...' free-form text box on this thread If that doesn't automatically show an image, click on the button 'Insert image from URL' inside this text box. In the new window paste the link in the URL text box. Then click on the 'Insert into post' button. [End] 5 minutes ago, Bert Pieke said: Give it time.. Correct. 👍@wyodeacon You have to be very patient when installing MSFS. Go make yourself a hot drink, mow the lawn and watch your favourite TV show/read a book if your download speeds are not fibre broadband fast. Easier (in my opinion, as there's no need to create an account for it) is Postimages Simply click on that link and either drag the image(s) from a folder you've saved it to onto that webpage or navigate to the image(s) using the choose images button*. Click on the second button down "Direct Link" and paste into your forum post. (* In most cases, I don't re-size the image - you'll see a drop-down menu giving you size options - but you may decide to if only want to post a small image or if it's an overly large screenshot for instance. The bigger the image, the more strain it puts on those viewing on limited data internet or mobile devices). February 21, 20233 yr It seems the OP has already purchased whatever version they decided on. Regardless- here are the aircraft you pick up with Premium Deluxe Propellers Beechcraft Baron G58 Propellers Cessna 152 Aerobat Propellers Cessna 172 Skyhawk Propellers Diamond DA40 TDI Propellers Diamond DV20 Propellers Cirrus SR22 Propellers Pipistrel Virus SW121 Propellers Zlin Shock Ultra Airliners Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner Jets Cessna Citation Longitude Clearly if you are into mainly Airliners or Business jets, this package is NOT for you, though the Citation with the latest update is now pretty good, the 787 remains awful. If you like GA there are some real gems. The Baron, Steam 172, SR22 are all must haves, the Pipistrel Virus is a hidden gem and th eShock Ultra, Diamonds and 152 Aerobat are all reasonable. On top of that there are addon payware mods that transform the Steam 172 and also coming soon is a payware mod for a Steam Baron. TLDR - if your an airline person forget it - but if you like GA it is a great little addon to your hanger, all for the price of just one payware addon aircaft.

February 21, 20233 yr Probably too late but when MSFS is asking you where to install, don't use the default location! IIRC, there are 2 locations it asks for. the first is where the core program should be installed. Next is where the community and official folders should come. The latter should be a large and fast drive. The core files are just a few GB The official folder contains all your default scenery and aircraft including the World Updates and everything you purchase from the Marketplace. The community folder is where freeware and third-party addons go. I wouldn't purchase anything in the first few days though. Just take your time flying a bit, doing a few lessons and challenges. Someone mentioned Addon Linker. This is a vital addon IMHO to manage your freeware once you start collecting a few. As for addon aircraft, airports and utilities I am sure you can get lots of advice here. This is a good time to be a flightsimmer. February 21, 20233 yr Buy the absolute best, which is the Premium Deluxe Edition - if not, you'll regret it. Buy it from the source, the MS store. Posts about "having problems with the store" and "buy the Steam version because..." are just anecdotal evidence. I've used the MS Store for many, many years and never had a problem.
