Had this message two weeks ago for a few days in a row and suddenly things worked again. Updated to SU12 yesterday... and I am getting the message again. I am done for today too. I'll find something else to ruin my time... 😡

BTW Just tested my internet speeds: 929,3 Mbps down and even 940.4 up. So don't tell me my bandwidth isn't good enough, you MS-idiots.

a great way to handle is they slow the tread down now, because the storm off user report this👎

There is a specific problem since SU12 release for Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland which leads to this error appearing non-stop. See here:

Limit in MSFS options to 40 Mbit/s doesn't solve the problem ?

Seems mostly Europeans having issues. VPN to the USA solves the issue for me. Of course the ping is horendous this way but no more "your bandwidth is too low" messages.

Even connecting to a US server without a VPN works much better than the European servers.

Hi guys, my workaround and it worked very well - i us a free Proton VPN that gives you three countries, Netherlands, USA, Japan, Netherlands did not work right, same issue, so i conect to USA and this worked top !!

So if you in Europa and this conecting thing takes some longer you can download that free VPN as a workaround until Asobo/Microsoft fixes this anoying issue.

You have to create a acount for that..

It definitely seems to be affecting users in Europe. (I see you are in Germany). Here in the the northeastern US, I have not yet had the problem.

OK, as from today it seems to work normal again, no bandwidth error at non VPN, so fingers crossed..

Just to report back.

well same with me - had the bandwidth problem all the time until I installed the map enhancer - not a single instance of it - yet the first time I fired up SU12 I got it back - tried all the map servers on the enhancer & same on each one - just such a shame as I had just got my 4090 & was enjoying spectacular frame rates & now it's all gone to hell in a handbasket - I really hope they get thier act together soon - BTW I am in Australia - dunno if anybody else in OZ is having the same probs

So far I had no such problems with the map enhancer. Only with Bing maps.

Apart from the bandwidth problem I had an issue yesterday that MSFS was staying for ever on the "checking for updates" page.
After a few times where I killed MSFS and tried again I disconnected the network when MSFS was in this state.

That seemed to get things going since I got the choice to continue in offline mode. MSFS started fine in offline mode and I could switch to online in the options menu after the sim had launched.

A similar issue occured when ending a flight. The sim was stuck getting back to the menu page but after disconnecting the network it immediately got back to the menu.

Normally if MSFS has starting problems I suspect a problem an issue with addons but in this case addons have nothing to do with it. It seems Microsoft has major server issues and that needs to be resolved asap.

all out of the sudden no more bandwidth errors. I have the feeling ( but just guessing) that it had to do with the update. Slamming the servers....Asobo needs to improve this, on the other hand I am very pleased with the updates, so If it can not be avoided..........
