March 18, 20233 yr Many complains about the bandwidth error since the last 4 weeks. You never know how widespread this is, because when you don't have this error you will not complain about it on forums. many votes here in this topichttps://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/your-bandwidth-is-too-low-february-march-2023/573113/733 Edited March 18, 20233 yr by altenae MSI Tomahawk Z790, I7-13700K, DDR5 6000mhz, MSI 4090, 3x SSD 980 PRO, Corsair 360 Liguid CPU cooler, Corsair H1200V2 power.
March 18, 20233 yr Could be coincidence but the amount of times this has been occuring for me has reduced significantly since I started using a VPN.

March 18, 20233 yr This is not just a problem the last few weeks. It's been an ongoing problem since MSFS was released, and to my knowledge, I have never heard that Asobo has acknowledged it as a problem or concern of the MSFS user base. It will happen to me a few times during a day of flights, then no issues for weeks, then it happens again. There have been many threads on this subject over the past two years. March 18, 20233 yr I am in the US Northeast using 200 MB Spectrum cable for my internet connection. I have been using MSFS since Alpha 4. I have never had the “low bandwidth” message in the almost 3 years I have been using the sim. I have flown 14 hours since last weekend, including a 6-hour flight from KBOS to KLAX, and no “bandwidth” messages. Now, I do occasionally get the “you have been disconnected” message, which usually resolves itself within a few moments. This is the message that does not have to be acknowledged, and does not automatically disable Bing graphics and PG. I do have a top-of-the-line router - a Netgear AXE11000 which is a $600 unit that is optimized to support multiple high-speed streams. The FS computer is assigned a static IP address within my home network. I have IPV6 turned off and use Google DNS. The computer is connected to the router with CAT7 Ethernet cable. Over the last four days I have flown these flights in the Fenix A320 for my VA: LHR - ATH 03:25 ATH - LHR 04:14 LHR - AMM 05:11 AMM - LHR 05:40 These times are block-to-block, so the MSFS sessions were even longer. Not one single problem. March 19, 20233 yr using msfs since beginning. Never had this problem. since last week it started. I made no hardware changes, have a ping of 5 m/s, and download speed of more than 950 mb/s.... getting pretty frustrated... It feels like this is unfortunately part of the price we have to pay for being on a server-based sim. I have also had periods of this happening, but am in the clear with this at the moment. On the other hand, I am finding that the quality of the PG has gone down the cr*pper big time in the last couple of weeks. Places like SF Bay Area, Seattle etc are full of melted buildings and those pyramidal tree bollards. And it ain't my connection, I'm on full fibre (1 Gb). Maybe there's a cloud upgrade or maintenance going on, maybe it's Putin (my standard response to all major problems has for decades been "I blame Thatcher", but I feel it may be time to modernise here) Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. March 19, 20233 yr Author Speedtest almost 900 Mbps down and 600 UP.. But till the bandwidth error. Tried to enable the Bingdata again and immediately the error again and the sim is stuck on the message saving settings. I am done. I am going to sell the 4090 and forget about this. This is not doable for me anymore. All started after AAU1. March 19, 20233 yr I've never had those kind of problems before. But since AAU1, I'm seeing the "my bandwidth is too low" message on a regular basis. I'm in central Europe and it's especially bad in the evenings. Thankfully I have a free afternoon during the week, where I can fly mostly problem free. But weekends is a mess. From Friday to Sunday I get 100% of the time the message, pretty much as soon as I spawn in an airport. People, can you all please stop using the sim, so I can enjoy my Sunday afternoon flight! Or even better, MS put some more resources into your servers, so they can handle the load!

(What happened with that update) Today I had 6x Bandwidth to low in a 3 hour flight. (Western Europe) What scares me is that if Asobo/Microsoft is not fixing this then MFS2020 is not usable anymore for me. That would make me very sad.
