after Nvidia Driver 531.41update...

Featured Replies

531.26 is what I have. This was after the hotfix to 531.18 which also reported a few issues. This one is very stable so I'll wait for the next one.

...Sim is stop working some minutes from started flight with the message for gpu (rtx 3080ti 16gb) overclock, overheat or driver issue...

the temp was normal and isn't overclocked, any suggestions ?

I installed the new driver and switched to Dx12 for a try (I have had issues with it but I thought DX12 might be stable by now with the new driver, worth a try).

And I get the same result you do if I'm in DirectX 12 : crash after a few minutes with irrelevant overclock message (my RTX4090 is underclocked at 80% power limit and perfectly stable in DX11).

I only managed to do a full flight after switching back to DX11, so nothing new under the sun.

Why? No need to do that. Try running it normally and then test DX12.

currently driving the FENIX from ENVA to ESGG in live weather, so far all fine right after takeoff. possibly less fluid though but so far no overheat messages, will report back once landed

landed in the meantime and all fine, also performance at 3rd party ESGG btw

Is this just due to the extra smoothness?  I am not sure I can see any difference in visual quality.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

coincidentally I decided to switch from DX11 to DX12 some one hour ago and did the very same flight ENVA - ESGG again. what can I say, much smoother(er), will keep DX12 for now. btw still using TAA and not DLSS to avoid glass cockpit tearing/smearing in my tubeliners

Try AMD FSR 2. Even with Nvidia Cards. On my 3060 almost no glasscockpit smearing and better fps compared with DLSS.

Interesting. Just checked and saw that option for the first time. Which FSR setting do you use. Tried balanced and had some smearing when briefly dialing the altitude knob on the HW330. Cannot try more as I am just enroute from ESGG to Vancouver though 🙂

found that too only after the SU12 update. 'Quality' runs just fine here.
