I am thinking of attending, I am just trying to figure out the latest time that I can sign up for it (and the room) as I travel quite a bit for work and would hate to forfit(sp?) any monies.

My advice is to book your room as soon as possible. Most hotels should let you do this free of charge or obligation until 24-48 hours before you arrive, although ask to be sure. LOL.....i wish I could be there Tom, but for the first time in 5 years, I cannot attend....Not sure why it was scheduled so late this year, but at least this gives someone else a chance to win the flying contests! Kidding of course, but I am sad that I can't make it. I have to teach eye professionals how to examine childrens' eyes instead in New Orleans, which was a committment and obligation I could not undo. Ethically, I probably shouldn't want to, but emotionally, my heart will be in Seattle. not just room cost...are there not fees for the convention itself that may not be refundable?
