Seen a few people complaining about seasons already here.  Speak up there ...

I completely understand the frustration about seasons and wx so i will probably post my opinions there as well but for right now.. Rex accuseasons is scratching that itch. I do want to see some word not allowed cirrus clouds though so i will be speaking up for that side of the convo.

Everything we wanted in MSFS, that we still do as part of the ten year plan. Just copy the list, no need for a new one. Unless one likes talking to walls. 

I had a lot of confidence and took part in such lists, Q&A threads, priority votings, etc. for two years. I grew tired seeing many of my wishes not being heard, though.

As a result I got more and more lazy with this. Of cause this may all be my fault that I just didn't have the proper wishes.

Lets face it this is about making money and what do companies do they release new versions to sell product because no money in constant upgrades. Id personally prefer MSFS 2020 to have been fixed in the areas that needed it rather than the next good thing but hey welcome to capitalism where the mighty dollar rules

Well, we were quite firmly against any kind of subscription so this is the best way for Microsoft to get regularly paid, apart from the revenues of the marketplace.
I purchased over 2000€ in addons by now and Microsoft received just a tiny fraction of it since most purchases have been outside the marketplace

If Microsoft charges €60-€90 for MSFS2024 I won't complain but if I cannot use these addons in MSFS2024 I will feel betrayed; after all they promised us at least 10 years; I would not have spend this on addons if this was only a 4-year project.

I said it quite a few times, I have never been convinced that they are listening to anything the users say. They have set up a nice PR make-believe, thats all. I did like you, expressing wishes , voting for threads etc  (still do) because its part of the fun.  Also, maybe hope never dies 😄 . Looking back, there is one exception to the rule, when they see pitchforks and torchs down their windows like for SU 5.  

They have a long term plan (I am not referring to the 10-year BS thing) that they follow.  Not a bad thing if it sustains the franchise over the years to come.

 1/ It seems to me that the subscription mode already exists with the Game pass

2/ I, for one, am not hostile to subscription if it would mean for instance constantly fresh and fine grain sat imagery and a strong weather engine (and I don't mean scripted tornadoes here).

So let me get this straight? They want us to pay again for the SIM that we were originally promised? It's starting to look like another Train Sim World!!

That's the 10 year plan,

every few yrs re release it.

Then disappear for another 15 odd yrs

-A Longer life span than 4 years!

-An upgrade option.

-A default 737 with WT avionics

-Animated AI Copilots that work independently

-Animated passengers that can clap/scream etc

-Advanced simulation AI / ATC system that "just works"

-Walking mode

-Fixes for LOD, ground friction and landing physics

-Color control sliders in sim (earth is too blue)

-More effort put into localized trees/grass types etc

I don't remember anything in this trailer being promised for 2020.
