P3Dv6 has AI !!!!!

I don't know if anyone has paid attention we now have AI.  Behind the scenes it shows Military AI is here and is in use by the Military (I can only infer and it is coming).  Welcome to Skynet.

One should be able to create awesome flying scenarios with AI.

I am a bit confused by this. P3D has always had AI though AIG, MAIW, and a bunch of others providing GA and Biz Jet AI traffic.

AI is just too big conception to get a grip... actually I didn't see the AI in combat game/sim evolved for like few decades......if they actually could be count as AI...

This AI sounds like machine learning (similar in realms for Chatgpt), the system is going to learn and see on how it sees a pilot flies and change scenarios in real time.  Again, this is me interpreting it from one statement on that pic.  Lockheed has been working on v6 for the past 2 years...

Think from their client's training needs b/c scenario building (kinda like Top Gun 2, when they are showcasing scenario using computer simulation prior to the mission).

I don’t have 2750 to spend on a sim so a moot issue to me😂

You know, a comment here about "AI" traffic got me thinking - why do we refer to the airplane traffic in the sim as "AI traffic"?

It's not really AI in the sense that it does not learn and change its behavior based on what it has learned.

Yup...I've long-said that it should be called "automated" traffic rather than "AI" traffic.  Or maybe "scripted" would be even more accurately descriptive.

LM and MS have had AI just they could not use real airline Liveries, Airlines copyright their Liveries and if you're a multimillion company selling a product you could be sued,

Just letting everyone know that is feature is Artificial Intelligence (realms of Apple Siri, ChatGpt, Google's Bard etc)

I really wish I can work with a developer on this to design some scenarios for flight sim but doing this solely may not happen.   This feature alone far exceeds anything else I have seen; the ramifications are huge for the markets P3D is catering for.

PS - you can always get the developer license and pay monthly fee.

Maybe that was the term MS used when this feature was launched back in FS8?

MS used that is marketing term.  Plane AI right now is not self learning.

It can and do some basic decision making, so AI in a scene it is then
