August 1, 20232 yr There was a win11 H update this week. If you're not blocking driver updates, including GPU, it's possible that a default WHQL got installed and messed around with your settings. Try reinstalling the driver version you had before. If possible do a clean driver install using some tool like driver uninstaller or the like (make sure you find a safe app, otherwise simply resinstall using customized mode (Nvidia) and a fresh install). And big thank you because your problem made light in my brain - I am having a very similar symptom each time I run X-Plane 12, no problem in MFS, but I did push the Win update and now I recall it started the flashes after this update !!! I'll match the installed Nvidia driver version against the one I had before the update ASAP, and will report back here in your thread. Fingers crossed you can solve it soon !!! August 1, 20232 yr If it's GPU related, perhaps try and use an onboard GPU output if you have one? Should allow you to DDU / Reinstall drivers. August 1, 20232 yr Are you overclocking in the BIOS? If so try disabling it. Edit: I noticed you have another system too. You might want to try swapping out the GPU. to rule it out as being an issue. August 1, 20232 yr Since you can get to the task manager. I would start ending task on any non critical process. You can post a screenshot or type them out if unsure what the process does.
