How spoiled are RL pilots with the A2A Comanche

I really have not flown anything else since its release, nearly a month ago! It really does feel alive and I will spend many, many hours with it. It has taken me away from the airliners, that I have basically lost interest in for the time being with all their present issues, and as others have said my other GA sit idle. I have left only the 310 and 414 installed, but neither has left the hanger since the Comanche released. I hope this inspires other developers to give their products this level of detail. It sets the bar pretty high now and I won't purchase anything else that is not in the vicinity of A2A. The same thing happened in P3D -- purchasing an A2A aircraft saved me a lot of money on other addons.

Same here. As for real life: I now have about 10 hours of training in a microlight (Ikarus C42CS), and, apart from being a rather different airplane, the A2A Comanche "feels" the most like what I experience in the real life Ikarus. Things like momentum, timing of reaction of the plane to inputs, swinging in turbulence, no on-rails feeling, and the sounds!

Every time A2A release any GA aircraft for any sim platform, people say 'it's 'just like the real thing'  and better than anything that came before.   I wonder what they'll say for MSFS2024.

(I agree by the way)

Mind you, there are some people who find no particular fault with Carenado...

There are also people stating Live Weather is perfect and awesome, people denying clear bugs, so I wouldn't count on everyone's opinion ...

I just hope they come out with some other planes soon as I am absolutely not interested in a Comanche, and that's the only reason I haven't bought it yet.

I used to fly their C182 in P3D and it pretty much spoilt any other GA regardless of size and speed for me as well. It was alive even within the P3D limitations so I can't wait to see what they do in MSFS.

Same did I. I am not fond of the Piper Low wings - they are i.m.o. too unstable and are difficult to plant on the runway while landing. So exercising to become a reasonable Piper pilot takes me too much time while I am also interested in flying many other planes. Iwould buy a C182 either, if A2A publishes one but I know allready now that I would fly it only in the learning time and later not too often. To fly A2A means to become rather „one trick ponyish“.

What they were developing originally for MSFS was an Aerostar,

I've been having some problems with my rudder pedals and have been having to use auto rudder but auto rudder does not seem to work with this plane for me.

Maybe because it uses a flight model external to the sim - Accusim.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I guess that is the case.  Will have to get those rudder pedals up and running again
