Can anyone confirm this? This is important information for captains. The BMW looks more accurate. They have the light bridge and runway elevation correctly modeled. You do realize that San Francisco Bay is tidal water correct? Typical tide swing in the bay is 5-8 feet with a king tide swing of 7-10 feet. Personally, I would not interpret anything from a static screenshot...unless MSFS is in fact correctly representing tidal waters in the sim.
June 19, 20241 yr It looks like Flightbeam used a photo from Google. The walls of his parking lot are less detailed.
June 19, 20241 yr FPS is pretty hard. Similar to what I have at DD KEWR (the worst performing airport IMHO). Just curious if BMW has the same pattern. 9950X3D, X870E ROG CROSSHAIR HERO, Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000, ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16GB, 9100 PRO 4TB Samsung ,990 PRO 4TB Samsung, AX1600i 1600 Watt 80 Plus Titanium ATX, ASUS 360 ARGB EXTREME 360mm Liquid CPU Cooling Kit.

June 19, 20241 yr Fine. But you can probably see the end of Runway 19 from the cockpit. And BMWorld & AmSim did the job more accurately here too. The concrete fence is hard to miss. Edited June 19, 20241 yr by Flying-Hare

Just curious if BMW has the same pattern Well that is kind of concerning. FlightBeam has previously been very good at optimization but maybe there is just too much detail in this Captain's edition. What have others found? MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

" on Flightbeams KSFO. And IIRC someone else also mentioned good FPS, but you have to find that post yourself if you want to know. I have purchased it an hour ago, but not yet being able to jump into the sim. I most seriously doubt that this performs as bad as DD's KEWR. That's almost physically impossible I dare to say. June 19, 20241 yr Very first impressions and I should share that I'm a fan of FlightBeam certainly because of my FS2004 experience 😉 I really really love the ground apron texture: Am I the only one getting the feeling that the yellow letters on the black background look blurry ? Something wrong on my side ? ... all VDGS seems to be at the wrong height. As I'm focus on piloting, I really don't care of this but... Edited June 19, 20241 yr by vbazillio Vincent B. June 19, 20241 yr I too am having significant fps issues and stutters. I removed Asobo discover ksfo. Do I also need to remove asobo discover ksfo sunset? I also have a lot of flickering on terminals etc. I have several ini builds, fly Tampa and several others with very few issues. Ini ksat kills my system for some reason but all others ok. I’m thinking my fb sfo issue may be something on my end. Other fb airports are fantastic, for example KDen.
