Flightbeam SFO RELEASED

Purchased because I've been a long time supporter of Flightbeam. That said, as someone who often does night landings, I'm a bit disappointed to see they are still using what appears to be the default green centerline taxi lighting which is unevenly placed. Also no yellow/green centerline lighting on the high speed runway exits. Aside from that, the airport is beautiful!

Let him know and maybe it will be addressed in an update.

It's coming. Understandable that lots of assumptions are made since there's little info, and I apologize for that. This is by design due to competition. Also, I've stopped pumping out previews due to

the BMW actually seems to be more accurate in the modelling department in areas (when compared to the google imagery), but the textures are better on the FB one.

edit:

The FlightBeam ramp textures have black backgrounds behind the aircraft typing on the parking line, IRL SFO from what I can see from pictures online does not have that, BMW is correct there.

The more I look, the more I see the BMW is actually more visually accurate than the flight beam one. Comparing the above images to images on google maps and other places online.

Probably won't matter much to people who don't actually visit or work at KSFO often, but there's like entire sections of building missing

They get painted black again every once in a while.

The difference is Flightbeam continues to support and update our products.

There are many missing items from the BM Scenery, but it's ok, we're held up to a higher standard.
If you want a savage comparison, we can cherry pick too: https://www.flightbeam.net/compare

Just bought it, flying the Duke from LAX to SFO now.

I hope he adds the high speed yellow/green exit lighting on the runways.

KDEN is also a great stop along the way.

We already have the tech for it (NZAA custom taxiway lighting). The problem is since Asobo added DLSS it causes massive flickering to custom taxiway lights.. hence we're forced to use the default ones for now.

I know off topic but FSimStudios Edmonton CYEG is also a great purchase for a side trip.

And here comes the inevitable question?  Performance?   Mir has usually mastered beauty and performance exceptionally well but just asking.

If KDEN is any indication, it will be very good but I don't use any 3rd party traffic apps.

I flew out of there tonight using the PMDG 737-900 with my usual big city TLOD (100) and with FSLTL traffic active and had frames generally staying around 60, very fluid.

Two really good KSFOs out now. No complaints at all! Thank you.

I wonder when it makes it to the marketplace ?

Assuming this isn't getting fixed since their focus is on 2024 now. I'm not questioning your motives but how come I don't see this flickering in other sceneries? Are you saying only your taxiway tech is affected by this? I went ahead and bought it because I've been supporting you for years now, but this is a bit disappointing. 😕
Edit: Give us an option turning it on or off? 😉
