While Kuro did apparently help a bit with the -9, he wasn't the main dev like the -8. That's also why the 787-8 is not on the headwind launcher. Edited October 27, 20232 yr by Tuskin38

October 27, 20232 yr you still need to download the livery pack from fs.to though https://flightsim.to/file/62798/horizon-simulations-boeing-787-9-livery-package And the GSX profiles https://flightsim.to/file/62792/horizon-simulations-boeing-787-9-gsx-profiles Edited October 27, 20232 yr by Tuskin38
October 27, 20232 yr Pardon me for a dumb question, but I have not yet used any of the 787 models yet. Is this new offering from Horizon of near pay-ware quality? It sounds really great from what I have read, and to offer this free of charge is fantastic. I am just curious, and I am thinking more along the lines as to how it compares to the QW 787 for FSX, which I really enjoyed. It's modified from the Asobo 787-10, that some people around here have said is very close to the QW787 quality. But I haven't personally flown the -9 yet. But I'm reading there are issues with taking off. If you have 49% load or higher, the plane just refuses to pull up until a certain speed and then it just goes full tilt with your stick/yoke. Cheers, Pete It's certainly pay-ware quality and thanks to the underlying WT systems much more solid and non-glitchy avionics-wise than e.g. the CRJ or ATR. It's not on the level of the PMDG or Fenix, if that's what you ask, but it's not far off and most likely the best 787 we will ever get for that sim. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
