Certainly everything looks normal from inside the cockpit in the review videos. As far as I know, there is no misting effect for MSFS, only icing, so I think the picture is just the reflection / opacity effect from the acute angle the picture was taken (relative to the windshields). I worked for a company that made aircraft windshields for virtually everything - Boeing 737, 747, 757, 767, 777, every Airbus, and even Concorde and B-1B etc, and we had to inspect them from all angles at final inspection. Depending on the makeup of the windshield and various other factors of lighting, that effect can actually show at that angle. So whether IniBuilds meant it or not in the MU-2, it could actually be realistic! Being involved in aircraft windshield manufacture for nearly 30 years, the things I look for in sim to display accuracy are, temperature modulation sensors (the thin wire packages in the windows), the thin metallic film heating element (Indium Tin Oxide) that normally shows as rainbow colours in reflection, and sometimes even the logo, PPG, GKN, Pilkington etc. I don't get bent out shape if they aren't there, but it is nice to see them, and they are included sometimes in various combinations. The windshield heat in the model is INOP so I'm guessing it's pure accident.
November 2, 20232 yr Hi, Is there an operating/pilots manual included with this aircraft? If so, where is is located? Regards, Scott "...now let's get this thing on the hump - we've got some flyin' to do!" ~ Major Kong from "Dr. Stranglove" Scott Cebula
November 2, 20232 yr There is no manual. There is, included in one of the folders that are downloaded after buying...a get you up in the air quickstart checklist. It won't help with after cruise phases, nor power/prop settings...fuel..any of that important shizzle.

November 2, 20232 yr My bad..I had a senior moment. I was referencing the wrong plane regarding manual/lacking. I'm sorry. Edited November 2, 20232 yr by dusty_sourdough907
November 2, 20232 yr Interesting! Reading the manual, I see there is a tilt knob on the weather radar. I thought this feature wasn't available in MSFS. Has anyone tried it? Does it work as expected? I won't get a chance to test until about 8pm tonight. Edited November 2, 20232 yr by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). The manual doesn't specifically mention the little dial that sits next to switch 3, the OM UP/DOWN switch, but that's what adjusts the range. Other than turning it on and off with the gain knob, that's the only other dial or button that does something. I'm actually enjoying this plane the more time I spend with it. It certainly has some 1.0 issues that I hope will get corrected eventually. At least iniBuilds says that they are paying attention and will eventually address some of the issues that have come up. I hope they do because it has the potential to be a fun aircraft to fly around when you want something simple and fast. AMD 7800X3D, RTX 4090, 42" LG C3 OLED 4K TV/Monitor

Several of the radar implementations have tilt options but I don't think they ever make any difference to what's displayed
November 3, 20232 yr How do you pull up the autopilot panel? The manual says it is under the trim lever. I see part of it but cannot get at any of its functions. We had one of these aircraft at BC Hydro back in the 70's - hard for the North American human frame to sit in it - built for short people! when it was flying it reminded me of a bug! Nigel Vancouver

I find it strange that it wasn't included as a default camera view, but it wasn't for some reason. AMD 7800X3D, RTX 4090, 42" LG C3 OLED 4K TV/Monitor

Autopilot is one of the main control panels and how even the real version has it hidden away seems very strange. MSFS 2020 is already quite difficult to fly without having to manipulate a view of the autopilot panel. Thanks for all this info, I will keep alert for updates which might fix it regards Nigel
