THREE AI TRAFFIC OPTIONS

Recommended Posts

I assume that you have to be careful not to park at a gate/ramp that is being used in the real world? Or does the software delete any AI plane that wants to park in your spot?

You can enter your desired gate in PSXTraffic so that it clears any parked or live AI from the parking spot.

If that doesn't work, there's another option in the program that removes an AI when you approach within a certain distance.

I cant believe no-one has mentioned

PSXT + MSFS (AIG x FSLTL) / ( PSXT + N1) -1

clearly the best in my view and super easy to setup.

It's a long time since I tried PSXT+MSFS. On the bottom of their screen it says "Waiting for data provider to connect to PSXT_MSFS..." I have FSLTL running, but what is it waiting for?

Thanks

Sounds like it’s waiting for RealTraffic?

Nothing but issues in the past. Will there be another provider in the future?

Yeah, if you don't mind your sim taking much longer to load, AIG is ok. For me it was too much so I just use FSLTL now.

only install the airlines you need 😉 The quantity of 1000+ airlines will cause issues with the Sim - no clue why since P3D is loading in seconds....

The problem for players like me is we don't always know where to fly until we load the sim, therefore the need to load them all becomes apparent and then the long loading times become an issue, our issue of course but it would be nice if Asobo could optimise the loading of mods again.

No, you'll need to own a RealTraffic licence for the traffic data feed.

However, just this afternoon, PSXTraffic has become a one program solution (no more need for a second app from RealTraffic).

I wish FSLT had an option to filter traffic by altitude such that I could have parked aircraft and could also see aircraft at altitude during cruise.  Traffic moving on the ground has too much of an FPS hit for me in an already stressful environment.  Enhanced Live Traffic ( ELT ) used to have this option but the program, which also used Flightradar24 data, no longer appears to work.

AIG + Radar Contact v4 is a great combo. You would, of course, have to use another simulator. 😉 All down to what’s most important to you.

The bad: Until Realtraffic changes its server, we will have very little coverage at ground airports. Last year was incredible, but for now we have to wait. You can't use ATC either, because MSFS doesn't identify them.

Hi abranpuko,

I understand that you are frustrated, but imho you are exaggerating. There are still plenty of (major) airports that are well covered with ground traffic. Balthasar has published maps with coverage data.
Of course it is unfortunate that airport at the island where you live, is now one of the bad spots.  Like you wrote, we have to wait for a solution. Balthasar is working on that.

I contineously improve PSXTraffic. This year, for instance, I have integrated destination learning (with the Recorder). That was merely because of your wishes.

So what do you want to achieve with this thread? You are pretty well aware of the AI Traffic possibilities. I'd say.

Nico

Flight plans are better than live traffic.

For you. I (and I believe most of us) prefer to see the planes where they are in real time.
