GSX UPDATE: Dec 13th

Featured Replies

Virtuali, please make the GSX departure crew STOP immediately and request the parking brake be engaged, when the user initiates a stop request during pushback for example when the plane is about to be pushed into a building or off the tarmac.  Right now it can take way way too long for this,  where crew keeps marching for a long time despite the fact the pushback stops immediately.

Thanks for the great work!

Noel

At first I struggled with GSX. It‘s not an addon that you will learn in minutes. But after some time i got to know how it works and for Airliners i would not fly without it. It really puts the immersion on a higher level. I put the shortcut on the streamdeck and have no worries at all. Also i think that there a very few developers who maintain there software so well like it‘s the case for GSX. Also i really like the combination of the PMDG and GSX. It‘s carefree and was long before the UFB was introduced. With the simbrief integration loading the PMDG is really easy. I like it very much. Also i appreciate the fact that the developer is nearly always answering question in different Forums. Even when it must be the 1000th time the same question is ask.

Thumbs up

still not convinced, look at youtube streamers have way to many bugs with it.

Been using it for years with both P3D and MSFS. Its fantastic software. But you keep listening to youtube streamers....

While we're on the subject Umberto, and I don't wish to offend, but are you looking at upgrading the passenger animations at any time? I don't think I'm alone when I say, IMO they don't look that great, especially when compared with other such animations, eg. DCS crew.

Thanks for the update info.

Only thing I continue to hope for is the ability to change the appearance of any jetway. Doesn't change what I think about GSX however: Great addon.

I am probably missing this but in P3D there was a way to auto-confirm the engine start as soon as pushback was complete.  Is that still an option in MSFS?  I haven't seen it or more likely I've missed it...

I explained that in the other thread. If you want flexibility to make passengers going everywhere, climbing stairs, turning over waypoints, they will never look as good as motion captured animations that are designed to work in a specific area, because to have this flexibility, their animation is mostly procedural.

If want an example in GSX itself, look at the Marshaller dance move. It's way more natural, because it only works in a specific spot.
