It crashes when enabling FSR2(3) or changing FSR modes, but after restarting MSFS it seems to work. I get way more FPS using my RX5700 card, but image quality is decreased and some ghosting, which is expected.

December 27, 20232 yr For those that have MSFS crashing or freezing while using this mod : I've set in NVCP Max Frame rates to 60 and now my simulation runs stable without any crashes. It still a bit stuttery while panning really fast, but that can be solved by lowering your camera movement speed. One interesting think I noticed that by capping frame rates at 60 fps, MSFS developer option fps display shows that MSFS is only generating 30 fps, but Steam overlay shows 60 fps and motion and game feels really smooth. So it seems that other 30 fps are generated by FG. Leaving max frame rates off or 120 in NVCP makes MSFS crash with directx12 error or just complete freeze. Any ideas why fps setting may have this effect? (using latest nvidia game drivers) Edited December 27, 20232 yr by MindeK

I also have amd gpu but on the leaked FSR2FSR3 mod there is different versions like 0.5 until 0.7.1 in different folders and on the tutorial is mention you have to inject the CyberFSR D3D12 Proxy also to work i tried different ways but i didnt work, which folder did you just drop?

Oh, so we are talking about the same thing! 😉 I am using the latest 0.7.3. I only copied the contents of FSR2FSR3_220.zip to the MSFS folder. Enabling fake NVIDA GPU (to play aorund with different settings) also works for me via the zip file or by setting it to "true" in the fsr2fsr3.config.toml file.

Do you set that in the Global Settings or in the Game Settings in NVCP?

December 28, 20232 yr This is a question for someone with a 4000 series card. When using frame generation, does the in-game developer mode frame rate counter show the increased frame rate?

December 28, 20232 yr I have made some interesting discoveries here... If you have TAA enabled and render scaling on anything above 100%, you will get weird tearing in the bottom third and right hand third of the screen, worsened by panning. It took me a few hours to figure that out, and now this is the most game changing thing to happen to the sim I've seen in a long time!

No it shows your real fps, be sure you never get under 30 and you will be ok, FG will always give you exact the dubble, so you don't need any other counter than your brain.
