Does .8 work better than previous versions? I'm using .6. Is there a better experience with the newer version?

The 0.8 solves blurred distant ground textures in TAA for me. The same time it's less stable in complex sceneries causing jerking image. Cured by turning off and back on the FG.

  • Really? It's night and day difference. I'm testing the mod right now, on my "old" 3090, and I get a steady 60 fps, with PMDG 737-800, parked at FSDT KORD, at 5120x1440 32:9, I barely hit 40 befor

  • I'm testing this right now and my mind is blown.  I now understand why all the hype about FG.  3080ti, 4K, mostly high/ultra settings and have been pegged at 60FPS on first test flight in the Fenix.

  • I was one of the people who basically ordered an RTX 4000 series card only because of Frame Generation. And FG is really impressive.  Now I'm glad everyone gets to participate in that experience.

nope had no time yet to try due to Christmas formalities😁Also I don't know which version of FSR 2 is in use by Asobo? there are 2 install options from the guide, it's not the one where you just simply put the files in the MSFS folder by the exe. for me this would be in the XBOX games folder.

I tried sdk version (with cyberfsr and d3dproxy), it crashes after a few seconds of loading too.

but on the game settings do you have to put nvidia dlss super resolution or amd frs2 cause is mention something about here (Once installed, select **DLSS** (not FSR2, and not DLSS Frame Generation) ingame to enable FSR3) if i chose nvidia dlss super resolution the sim crash on a 6700xt

0.8 created some really bad glitches close to the airframe in cockpit view, for example the rotor blades of the Bell 407 during startup were all over the place.
Going back to 0.7 fixed the problem.

0.8 is also causing it to lag and stutter while panning in the Fenix A320 for me.

Anyone that can help explain why my GPU spikes to 100% when using the second monitor to view charts etc?

What is happening is that the game runs great on the main screen but as soon as i go to the second monitor the GPU spikes and the FPS drops to around 10 independent of scenery etc and MSFS starts to stutter but as soon as i go back to the main monitor everything is working OK.

Have you check your VRAM usage? you are probably reaching the limit when you plug in your second monitor

Did you copy the two DLL files into the game folder? Did you run the registry hack DisableNvidiaSignatureChecks.reg? Did you restart your computer?
