December 26, 20232 yr New update and release details: https://forum.inibuilds.com/topic/20344-inibuilds-a300-600-release-information-walkthrough-video/ ... ~US$45 not bad at all!We are pleased to inform you that we are doing the final preparation of the aircraft and release will be before this weekend. You can find the store page here: https://inib.uk/a300-msfs & we are pleased to inform you that the price for this extremely feature rich aircraft will be £34.99 GBP excl. VAT. ... In traditional iniBuilds fashion, we aren't going to release a plane with just a manual 😉 Whilst we haven't made a full tutorial series for this product, we have made a 'Welcome to' video / intro to the product showcasing some of the beautifully modelled parts and features of the plane! 🥳 It is a great piece of content for those who might be on the fence about purchasing the aircraft or would like to know more about the depth of detail we have gone into! ❤️ Systems and flight model: https://youtu.be/5mERB6lI8pA?t=953 "lot of changes and rework" over previous XP A300 version "new LNAV and VNAV, lot more accurate" "brand new auto-thrust, new auto-land and autopilot" "improved systems fidelity across the board" "brand new FM using MSFS's latest CFD tech, which gives it a heavier weighted feeling on rotation and landing, also simulates A300's characteristic poor roll control given the ailerons are not really at the end of the wing, etc .. all remade from the ground up" Maintenance, wear & tear, etc: https://youtu.be/5mERB6lI8pA?t=507 Exterior visuals: https://youtu.be/5mERB6lI8pA?t=207 Interior visuals: https://youtu.be/5mERB6lI8pA?t=325 Sounds: https://youtu.be/5mERB6lI8pA?t=742 Detail of simulation looking pretty good so far as I watch their intro video (i.e. wear and tear of each tire simulated separately based on # of landing/takeoff cycles, and also shown visually.. that along with brake wear indicators will make walkarounds more purposeful). And if this is the kind of quality they're aiming for with their A350 and A380, those can't come soon enough lol. December 26, 20232 yr They still don't have a firm release date, and they pushed back the NDA for streamers by a few hours today. I really hope this thing is truly ready for release.

I really hope this thing is truly ready for release. They've been planning for this for a while and want to make a good impression with their first payware high fidelity airliner for MSFS, so I doubt they'll release it if not ready.. but, let's see 🙂 They also have a hotfixes update planned for some time in January. As always maybe best to wait until then to purchase. December 26, 20232 yr It looks good in the video, I must say! I wonder if any of these improvements will find their way into the A310 at some point? "...now let's get this thing on the hump - we've got some flyin' to do!" ~ Major Kong from "Dr. Stranglove" Scott Cebula
December 26, 20232 yr From a few streamers I know, today they were told the embargo was pushed back. Both V1 and Canada had their streams set to go at 11 and 12. Someone from ini mentioned on V1’s discord “oh, good. You got the notification about the NDA change. Edit: according to ini it will either be tomorrow or Thurs. They want to see if anything comes up with the streamers. Edited December 26, 20232 yr by BrammyH

Last week, it was 4pm when folks were working on setting up the streams. It is probably just a few folks realizing they needed to get the message out, and having the NDA drop at the same time as the announcement wasn't a good idea.

Wasn't the iniBuilds A300-600 released for XP at 70 GBP: https://fsnews.eu/inibuilds-releases-a300-600rf-on-the-line-v2-update/ ? 70 GBP is about $89 USD today. That's an excellent price for MSFS for a new release, almost 1/2 the price of the XP release of the iniBuilds A300-600. Once again, MSFS add-on prices are so much better than other platforms. December 26, 20232 yr This is an exciting release! The wear and tear is welcoming feature! do the landing have influence on the wear to the tires?

Or is it a certain number of cycles counting down with a randomizer in there to scale it differently?

Oh that's interesting, not sure about the A310 but in this video they start about LNAV/VNAV here https://youtu.be/5mERB6lI8pA?t=961 and mention these bits: "lot more accurate, lot smoother .. when accelerating aircraft slowly follows what flight director is doing, limited per mode, pulling small amount of G-force .. that's what you feel in the real plane (takes a very long time for autopilot to correct itself), and that's all modelled now" Do you know what the IRL A310 pilots meant by "too good"? Wonder how that meshes with what ini say above about the LNAV/VNAV improvements they've made to the A300. Also I guess IRL A310 VNAV is likely different from the A300?
